Under pressure, against stronger competition, and in critical moments, he consistently elevated — orchestrating one of the more impressive comeback drives of the event. His leadership was evident, rallying teammates while staying poised and composed when it mattered most.

His ball placement consistently created opportunities beyond completions, leading receivers into YAC and keeping the offense on schedule. He processed quickly, rarely forced unnecessary risks, and paired clean footwork with decisive mechanics. Baig also showed more than enough arm talent to attack the sideline, push vertically, and deliver strikes over the middle. He looked like a true field general with both the physical tools and intangibles that translate to the next level.

He continues to grow every day in his arm angles and his release, which will only improve him when it comes to the Friday night contests. He is set to start for this season, which will be the first time he has done that. The moment isn’t too big for him, as he is ready for it.

Baig has been on my radar for quite some time, and his development has been second to none. His passing mechanics have improved tremendously, and he is someone who has already shown his talent when rushing. I believe he will be the biggest surprise guy at the position this upcoming season, and the talented prospect will be one to monitor when he is testing. I would expect him to test well, and I would also anticipate him to have a solid day in one-on-ones. Baig has all of the talent you would want, and once they all piece together at this event, he will be dangerous.

Baig had one of the best releases of the camp that day and he was very accurate. Baig has obviously developed and improved mightily since then and what I love about his game and what I want others to see, is how Baig confidently releases the football and delivers the ball in a hurry to his targets. He is a guy who is all-around within his game running and throwing but Baig tends to show out at these kinds of events just like he does in games on Friday nights. Ever since Luqman signed up, all eyes have been on him. He will be someone who will push to earn an even higher ranking right before he earns his first starting season. He will be a guy who looks to lead Norcross to the state title, but under his leadership, it seems possible. Baig is developing as a dual-threat and has been in the lab working very hard on his release. He will look to show this off on Saturday in what could be the performance that gets him on the radar of many college programs.

One of my favorite players in the class, as he is someone who has quickly become someone who will make a major difference at his high school. He spent the year getting reps with JV, and he is now slated to be the starter. He is someone who will likely be a star for this team. His speed has shown throughout the season, as he worked through his mobility. He has been fixing his release and is gradually improving everywhere in his game. Baig is the real deal, and that will show this season.

A impressive dual-threat quarterback on the rise in Gwinnett County, Baig is fresh off a really strong sophomore season where he played consistent, efficient football on a weekly basis against some tough competition. It’s not easy being a sophomore quarterback in general, and it’s even tougher to do it at a high level in Gwinnett County. He shows promising arm talent, can make plays in the pocket, and is one of the more elusive runners in the region. He’s a natural playmaker who can create and make plays when things break down. His best football is still way ahead of him and he’s bound for a giant junior season in 2026.

Baig hasn’t received the complete reps that he will be getting next year, but in his time during the games, it has become visible that he is one of the better players at the position when it comes to running the football. He has also completely improved his pass game. Baig is someone who has fixed the majority of his release problems that caught the eye of some evaluators, but his size and ability to extend plays make him extremely dangerous. This Norcross team will be in great shape under his decision-making.
