Hoping for more messages from college coaching staffs, they went to the weight room to hit the racks.
Looking to burn all the calories from Christmas turkey and gravy, they had visions of jumping up the newest Prep Redzone rankings.
The question rolling through all of their heads was, “When in the heck will we be able to read more reports from the football scout Deck?”
Well, I hope your holidays were filled with plenty of cheer, and here is a report on 4A receivers as we close in on the New Year!
Jace Adler Jace Adler 6'3" | 175 lbs | DB Andover Central | 2025 State KS , ATH, 6’2”, 180, Andover Central ‘25
Adler is a versatile athlete who played multiple positions for the Jaguars. In 13 games played Adler, finished with 61 receptions. Thirteen of those receptions ended in the end zone and he gained 837 yards on those 61 catches. He rushed for 55 yards and one touchdown. He also completed his one-pass attempt during his junior campaign.
Kaleb Scott Kaleb Scott 6'0" | 180 lbs | ATH Basehor-Linwood | 2024 State KS , DB, 6’0”, 180, Basehor-Linwood, ‘24
Scott just plays football and is an unselfish player. The Bobcat coaching staff needed Scott to fill in for a litany of injured receivers. The defensive and special team standout stepped up his game to the tune of 57 receptions for 854 yards in 11 games played. He scored eight touchdown receptions. On the defensive side of the ball, he racked up 36 total tackles, two interceptions, and one fumble recovery.
Carter Burnett Carter Burnett 6'4" | 185 lbs | DL Wellington | 2025 State KS , TE, 6’4”, 180, Wellington, ‘25
Burnett is a big target who can high-point the ball. At 6-foot-4 he creates match-up problems for opposing defenses. In 11 games played for the Crusaders, he finished with 44 receptions for 842 yards. He scored 11 touchdowns on receptions. Burnett plays defensive end for Wellington and racked up 96 total tackles, seven of which were tackles for lost yardage.
Landon Kitterman, WR, 6’0”, 145, Andover Central, ‘24
Kitterman is a solid position receiver and one of three Jaguars to record more than 40 catches. In 13 games played he caught 41 balls for 441 yards. He scored three touchdowns and returned kicks for Andover Central.
Kaiden Seamster Kaiden Seamster 6'3" | 205 lbs | ATH Chanute | 2024 State KS , WR, 6’3”, 190, Chanute, ‘24
Chanute had a solid 2023 season and Seamster was a productive member of the Blue Comets offense. He finished with 38 receptions for 706 yards. He scored six touchdowns with receptions while adding two scores on the ground, and throwing for one. Playing defensive back for Chanute he recorded 49 total tackles and had one interception.
Parker Chase, TE, 6’1”, 180, St. James Academy, ‘25
Chase finished the season with 37 receptions. He is physical and can create big plays. He finished with 493 yards in the pass game and four touchdown receptions.
Jace Evans Jace Evans 6'4" | 185 lbs | LB Rose Hill | 2024 State KS , WR, 6’3”, 180, Rose Hill, ‘24
Teams looking for a tall unsigned ’24 talent should take a look at Rose Hill’s Evans. He finished with 36 receptions gaining 612 yards. He recorded six touchdown receptions. Playing linebacker for the Rockets he finished with 79 total tackles and 10 TFLs in 10 games played.
