QB Tom Lambert Tom Lambert 6'0" | 210 lbs | ATH La Center | 2021 State WA , 2021, La Center
The versatile Lambert put up huge numbers in week 1, throwing for 367 yards and 7 touchdowns while adding 100 yards rushing on just 6 carries. He’s a natural football player that is a good all-around athlete using his strong and well-balanced frame at 6’0” 210 lbs. He’s a physical player with good overall playing speed and plus lateral agility. While he doesn’t project to be a QB at the college level he does throw a good ball and possesses natural arm strength. He has a great ability to improvise and use his athleticism to make something out of nothing. The 2021 ATH has yet to make a commitment but holds offers from Valparaiso and Linfield.
RB Ziere Ford, Puyallup, 2022
The 5’7” 195 lb. RB made a statement in week one filling the stat sheet with 195 yards on 22 carries and 5 touchdowns (4 rushing, 1 receiving). He’s a strong all-around back that can run, block, and catch the ball out of the backfield. He’s a downhill powerback but has quick feet and plus lateral agility. Does a great job making the first guy miss with a quick lateral cut and then gets square and up the field. He shows good vision and patience to see open running lanes and the acceleration and decisiveness to hit the hole with purpose. He’s coming off a strong sophomore season and could pop this year in the high-powered Puyallup offense.
WR Denzel Boston Denzel Boston 6'3" | 180 lbs | WR Emerald Ridge | 2022 State WA , Emerald Ridge
Boston showed why he is one of the top WR’s in the state in the week one victory over Rogers with 6 receptions for 130 yards and a touchdown. He possesses ideal frame and length for a college level wide out at 6’3” 180 lbs. He’s a lethal vertical threat where he can use his straight line speed and ball tracking ability to make explosive game breaking plays. He’s a developing route runner that shows good acceleration out of his stance and fluid hips in and out of his breaks. He has a great ability to use his leverage/length to box out defenders and high point the football. Can be a matchup nightmare for a DB 1on1. Currently holds offers from Arizona State and Nevada.
DL Trishion Sullivan, Spanaway Lake, 2022
Finished week one with 8 TKLs, 1 sack, 1 FF, and 1 PBU. Sullivan flashed his athleticism and speed off the edge throughout the 34-7 victory over Lincoln. He showed quick-twitch get off skills with an explosive first step off the ball that allowed him to beat his block and rush the QB several times throughout the game. He also showed his plus lateral mobility and short area quickness in pursuit. Demonstrated a good command of various pass rush moves and a good ability to dip and get around the edge. He has great length and a frame that can add weight as he continues to develop.
DB Jasiah Wagoner Jasiah Wagoner 5'11" | 170 lbs | DB Spanaway Lake | 2023 State WA , Spanaway Lake, 2023
Prep Redzone’s top ranked 2023 DB in the state played a huge part in containing the loaded Lincoln offense. He’s a savvy cover corner with great instincts and route anticipation. He plays well with his eyes and has continued to develop his footwork to limit wasted and inefficient movement. He is a great fast-twitch athlete with quick feet and good transitional quickness out of his break that allows him to close space and make a play on the ball. Shows he can play both press man and off coverage using his fluids hips and plus change of direction to cover effectively. He has some elite offers to his name including Oregon, Penn State, Washington, Washington State, and UNLV.
