It was amazing to witness everyone was able to sharpen their tools and leave the camp as better athletes.
I want to highlight some of the fantastic athletes who showed off their skills in the trenches yesterday. Sam Erman has already written articles about a few of these guys. Still, I want to recognize everyone in this group that we have not covered yet. We’re blown away by the talent and dedication of these athletes and were grateful to have them at camp.
Deshawn Rhule Deshawn Rhule 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Merrillville | 2024 State IN – Merrillville – OL – 6’3″ 310lbs – 2024
Deshawn Rhule Deshawn Rhule 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Merrillville | 2024 State IN concluded his senior season with an exceptional performance, putting his skills on full display all season long. His agility was particularly noteworthy during 1-on-1s yesterday, where he managed to keep up with numerous pass rush moves. Rhule’s defensive prowess was evident in his strong, well-timed punch, effectively countering the pass rush. Rhule emerges as a forceful presence in the realm of run blocking, as seen on film from this season. Deshawn is poised to make a substantial impact as a valuable addition to an offensive line group in the upcoming fall season.
