According to 247Sports, Butler has an official visit to Arizona set up for this weekend. Texas and Washington are the other two schools in the mix for Butler.
Butler averaged 146 yards per game with five touchdowns in just four games before leaving Calabasas to prepare for college football.
Carlsbad linebacker Luke Ferrelli Luke Ferrelli 6’3″ | 220 lbs | LB Carlsbad | 2024 State CA flipped his commitment from Stanford to Cal on Monday.
Ferrelli told 247Sports that he didn’t feel a strong connection with the Stanford coaching staff and Cal offered an opportunity for early graduation which appealed to him.
He had 56 tackles, 13.5 for a loss, 5.5 sacks and a fumble recovery for Carlsbad this season.

Newbury Park defensive lineman TJ Ford TJ Ford 6’2″ | 300 lbs | DL Newbury Park | 2024 State CA announced his commitment to Portland State on Monday.
Ford chose Portland State over Arizona, UNLV and Washington State which also offered him.
He had 31 tackles with four sacks in just five games for Newbury Park this season.
Ford is the second defensive lineman from California in Portland State’s 2024 recruiting class, joining Sonny Aina of Pacifica/Oxnard.
Crean Lutheran class of 2025 linebacker Carter Jones Carter Jones 6’1″ | 215 lbs | LB Crean Lutheran | 2025 State CA announced his commitment to Cal last Sunday.
Jones chose Cal over 16 other schools that offered him including Texas A&M, Florida State, LSU and Oklahoma.
He led Crean Lutheran with 152 tackles this season with 9 tackles for a loss and two interceptions.
Jones is the third player from California in Cal’s 2024 recruiting class and the fourth player overall.
