Basehor-Linwood is one of my top five programs to scout. The Bobcats’ head coach works extra hard to help get his players recruited. Martin is an athlete who has posted top-level performances when I have seen him play in the past. He is ranked No. 87 overall and is a player I would like to see at least one more time before he graduates and moves on. Basehor’s September 19, game against Shawnee Heights is currently the front-runner game to scout that week.

Nate Martin Nate Martin Nate Martin 6'0" | 175 lbs | ATH Basehor-Linwood | 2026 State KS of Basehor-Linwood is currently grouped with the linebackers in our rankings. This however could change after the ‘24 campaign. The Bobcats graduated several impact players on both sides of the ball this past spring, which gives Martin a golden opportunity to become a standout two-way player. Martin showed flashes of that potential during his sophomore year; taking home All-League honors at defensive back, and contributed as a return man and receiver. Don’t be surprised to see him have a breakout junior year.
