Anthony Nittoli Anthony Nittoli 5'9" | 185 lbs | LB DePaul | 2025 State NJ was recently covered in a piece about sleepers with film that I love; however, this does not exclude him from being one of prospects, formerly of our watchlist, who shot up the rankings. Nittoli currently sits as the #1 linebacker in the state. Despite being listed at just 5’9″, Nittoli plays at an equally high level in coverage, walked up off the edge, or at standard linebacker depth. He has the speed and hustle that few other prospects from this rankings update have. A solid tackler who is always buzzing around the field and exploding into breaks, perhaps what makes Nittoli special – and perhaps what sold me on him – is that, again, despite his size, he can take on much bigger offensive linemen at the line of scrimmage, use his hands, and disengage with their blocks by hitting a move.

Despite his height, Anthony Nittoli Anthony Nittoli 5'9" | 185 lbs | LB DePaul | 2025 State NJ is a linebacker whose film I fell in love with. Nittoli is one of the quickest, fastest, and most agile linebackers in his class. If he were an animal, I would say he moves like a gnat – quick, fast, small, and hard to catch. This said, Nittoli is extremely quick off the snap of the ball and accelerates very well. His hustle is evidenced on kickoff, where he is routinely the first man down the field. An explosive player, he gets to his pass drops in a hurry, buzzes, and pursues like no other. Additionally, Nittoli is a good form tackler. As much as you can measure intangibles on film, Nittoli appears to have the desire to make every play on the field. Not to harp on his size again, but he can take on offensive linemen at the line of scrimmage and disengage with them by hitting a move. All-in, Nittoli is currently the #1 linebacker in New Jersey’s class of 2025.
