To kick off a new week in the state of Arkansas, we are going to take a look back at the previous Friday. The Natural State had plenty of players that lit up the Friday night skies last week. We have several prospects that put up some eye-popping stats from last week and we are going to shine the spotlight on them one more time this evening.

Zane Widener-Running Back-Clinton-2024

Widener sees playing time on both sides of the ball for Clinton. However, last week he made everyone take notice of his work on the offensive side of the ball. On Friday night, he exploded for 400 yards on the ground and 7 touchdowns. He did an excellent job of making defenders miss as well as just outright running through tacklers. Widener is a player to watch out for as the season winds down and the playoffs approach.

[player_tooltip player_id='149580' first='Drake' last='Lindsey']-Quarterback-Fayetteville-2024

The Fayetteville signal caller has become a mainstay on the prime-time players list over the past few weeks. Lindsey connected on 17-of-30 passes for 261 yards and 5 touchdowns on the night. He did an effective job of scrambling out of the pocket and picking up yards with his legs. Lindsey rushed for 20 yards on the night and did a good job of keeping the Fayetteville offense on the field. He is a player to watch out for the rest of the season for the Bulldogs.

Ethan Grigg-Defensive Back-Bentonville West-2024

Ethan Grigg was all over the field for the Wolverines on Friday night. On the defensive side of the ball, Grigg amassed 10 tackles, 1 interception, 2 forced fumbles, and he blocked an extra point. He was accurate on all of his extra point attempts as well on Friday night. The Bentonville West defensive back is having an impressive season, and the Wolverines are getting hot at the right as the playoffs approach.

[player_tooltip player_id='917412' first='Prechton' last='Wilkerson']-Running Back-Hoxie-2025

Hoxie has a history of producing dynamic playmakers and they have another one in the form of [player_tooltip player_id='917412' first='Prechton' last='Wilkerson']. Wilkerson had the opportunity on Friday to showcase his receiving ability. All 3 receptions turned into touchdown receptions. Wilkerson racked up 150 receiving yards and churned out 29 rushing yards on Friday night. He is a player to watch out for over the next two years.

[player_tooltip player_id='819089' first='Wyatt' last='Simmons']-Linebacker-Harding Academy-2024

[player_tooltip player_id='819089' first='Wyatt' last='Simmons'] continues to open plenty of eyes each week. Simmons had a big night on both sides of the ball Friday night. On the defensive side of the ball, Simmons racked up 7 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 1 sack. Meanwhile, on the offensive side of the ball Simmons rushed for 29 yards on 2 carries. Simmons is a prospect to watch out for this postseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='232211' first='Brandon' last='Cobb']-Quarterback-Pulaski Academy-2025

The Pulaski Academy Bruins always have one of the most explosive offenses in the state and this season has not been any different. Pulaski Academy signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='232211' first='Brandon' last='Cobb'] had an impressive Friday night last week. Cobb was 34-of-52 for 478 yards and 8 touchdowns through the air. He tacked on 13 yards on the ground last week as well. Cobb is a quarterback to watch out for as the playoffs approach.

[player_tooltip player_id='202575' first='Kane' last='Archer']-Quarterback-Greenwood-2026

[player_tooltip player_id='202575' first='Kane' last='Archer'] continues to open plenty of eyes with his accuracy. On Friday, Archer was 18-of-20 for 224 yards and 3 touchdowns. Meanwhile, he put his ability to scramble and use his legs to pick up yards on the ground. Archer tacked on a touchdown on the ground. The Greenwood signal caller seems to be clicking on all cylinders as we draw closer to the state playoffs. Keep an eye on Archer in the playoffs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1227660' first='Cain' last='Price']-Quarterback-Stuttgart-2027

The quarterback prospects in the state of Arkansas are extremely talented and the class of 2027 prospects is going to open some eyes over the next few seasons. Stuttgart quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1227660' first='Cain' last='Price'] was accurate to all areas of the field on Friday night. Price threw for 259 yards on 11-of-14 yards and 5 touchdowns. He is a prospect to watch out for over the next couple of seasons.

To kick off a new week in the state of Arkansas, we are going to take a look back at the previous Friday. The Natural State had plenty of players that lit up the Friday night skies last week. We have several prospects that put up some eye-popping stats from last week and we are going to shine the spotlight on them one more time this evening.
