Duke Johnson Duke Johnson 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Dodge County | 2025 GA – Dodge County
The offers continue to roll in for the big Dodge County athlete. The small-town Eastman native is one of the top two-way players in Georgia and has shown why this season. hard-hitting linebacker and a weapon all over the field offensively, there’s not much Johnson can’t do on the football field. An explosive athlete who can run and catch the ball, Johnson has easy Power 5 size at 6-foot-3 205-pounds who runs like a deer. That’s why he’s added a new offer this week from Arkansas. When he has the ball good things happen. Still, it’s easy to see why schools love his potential on defense. He brings the hammer when he delivers a hit and he knows how to attack the ball-carrier. Whether he’s running down a running back or rushing the quarterback, Johnson is going to find a way to make a play.
Arkeyveon Hood – Spalding
Another tremendous defender who knows how to lower his shoulder and deliver a big hit, the Spalding defender is a versatile athlete at 6-foot-1 200-pounds who really flashes when running down the ball-carrier. A natural linebacker that can get down-hill and make plays in the backfield, Hood is having a big junior season and earned an in-state offer from the Georgia State Panthers this week. Of course, it’s easy to see why. He runs, hits, and knows how to tackle in space. He can play in the middle of the field or on the edge, making him a true weapon on the defensive side of the ball. He also knows how to make a play on the football, separating it from the ball-carrier. He’s playing excellent football and could see more offers come his way sooner than later.
Kevin Wynn Kevin Wynn 6'4" | 320 lbs | DL Greene County | 2025 State GA Jr. – Greene County
In the small town of Greene County is where you’ll find one of the top overall defenders in Georgia. A dominant interior defensive lineman at 6-foot-4 320-pounds, Wynn is earning offers left and right this fall and earned a new one recently from the Michigan Wolverines. Wynn is a game-changing type of lineman who had lived in the backfield so far this season. Through seven games, Wynn has made 36 tackles and 19 TFLs. He brings plenty of strength and power to the position, but he’s lightning quick off the snap as well. He’s an excellent run-stopper who can clog the running lanes and create penetration in the backfield, but he’s also a promising pass-rusher as well from the inside. Look for more offers to keep flowing in this fall and winter.
Mark Manfred Mark Manfred 6'3" | 180 lbs | ATH Sprayberry | 2025 State GA – Sprayberry
An impressive junior defensive back from Cobb County, Manfred is an impressive cover-corner who is seeing his recruitment start to really take off. The 6-foot-3 175-pound defensive back has plenty of length with the ability to cover bigger receivers on the outside. He’s quit-footed with the ability to turn around and really run. When the ball is in the air, the Sprayberry defender knows how to leap up and make a play. He’s an easy D1-caliber guy and he recently added a new offer West Virginia. So far this season, Manfred has made 41 tackles, one INT and has forced one fumble. He’s only getting better and he should see more new offers come his way down the road.
