[player_tooltip player_id='206867' first='Connor' last='Dye'] RB 24' Springfield- Dye will go down as one of the best players ever to come out of Springfield HS, earning all-conference honors as a freshman and never looking back. The POY candidate rushed for 294 yards and 2 TDs in the 21-8 victory over Churchill.

[player_tooltip player_id='285852' first='Avirey' last='Durdahl'] QB 25' Nelson- One of the more impressive teams this year has been Nelson in my opinion, with their only losses coming to the #1 and #2 team in the state. Durdahl continues to project as one of the top QB's in the NW, passing for 270 yards and 3 TDs, in the 28-6 win over Barlow.

[player_tooltip player_id='285855' first='Baron' last='Naone'] DE/TE 25' West Linn- As noted the state's # 1 recruit for 2025 has been having a POY type season on the defensive side of the ball for the Lions. He was instrumental in the 37-0 shutout win over a very talented team in Tualatin. On the night he finished with 5 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks.

[player_tooltip player_id='796694' first='Jordan' last='Rossetta'] QB 27' Grants Pass- The talented freshman QB made his varsity debut, passing for 2 TDs to 6-3 175-pound Sr. WR Cole Carnes, in the 29-22 win over North Salem. Look for Rossetta to be ranked among the top players in the state for the 2027 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='285879' first='Jacob' last='Thayer'] LB 25' La Salle- Thayer made the move back to 4A La Salle from Central Catholic and has made his presence known. He helped the 4A Falcons to a 42-0 win over reigning 4A state champ Estacada, finishing with 20 total tackles (11 solo).

[player_tooltip player_id='152356' first='Joey' last='Olsen'] WR/TE Lakeridge- The USC commit left no doubt on Friday dominating a solid group of Tigard DBs while catching 11 passes for 151 yards and 3 TDs, in the 27-9 win over Tigard.

[player_tooltip player_id='904355' first='Rocco' last='Graziano'] K 25' Sheldon/[player_tooltip player_id='1095875' first='Colby' last='Parosa'] 6-4 190 QB/ATH Sheldon- The 6-2 205 pound three-sport athlete Graziano looks to be one of the top kickers in the West, hitting on two more FG's (46,34). 6-4 Senior QB Parosa has looked good, rushing for 2 TDs (30-2) in the 27-0 win over South Medford.

Jamar Thurman RB 26' Lowell- Last year's 2A POY had 27 carries for 334 yards and 4 TDs, with Lowell beating 2A Monroe 49-14. Playing small school ball very few people know who Thurman is but that might change.

[player_tooltip player_id='406774' first='Baird' last='Gilroy'] QB 25' West Linn/ [player_tooltip player_id='152361' first='Ryan' last='Vandenbrink'] RB/LB 24' West Linn- We've talked a lot about Gilroy, as one of the fastest rising prospects in Oregon for the 2025 class. He continues to impress against top competition, passing for 212 yards and 4 TDs, versus a D1 secondary in Tualatin. As mentioned top baseball prospect Vandenbrink has been flawless in his return to the football field catching a TD pass, and rushing for another 73 yards, in the 37-0 win.

Gaje Nicholson RB/ATH 24' South Albany- The upset of the week came via the Albany rivalry matchup with South beating undefeated #2 West 20-14. Nicholson stepped up rushing 14 times for 134 yards, while also passing for 63 yards.

[player_tooltip player_id='286686' first='Zachary' last='Davis'] OLB 25' Central Catholic- The top ranked 2025 outside backer was dominant against a subpar Gresham team, making 9 tackles, with a sack and a TD, in the 49-7 win.

[player_tooltip player_id='511345' first='Jeremiah' last='Robbins'] RB/LB 24' North Medford- Hands down one of the most underrated players in the state. Robbins went for 3 TDs (2 rushing, 1 receiving) in the 30-9 win at Roseburg. He has been impressive every week.

[player_tooltip player_id='769995' first='Evan' last='Wusstig'] ATH 26' West Salem- Wusstig is one of the top ranked sophomores in Oregon and has been one of the state's most impressive kids this season. He returned another punt 58 yards for a TD in the 40-13 win over Sprague.

[player_tooltip player_id='207259' first='Kyrin' last='Fuimaono'] QB 24' McKay/ [player_tooltip player_id='1098241' first='Joel' last='Sanchez'] RB/LB 25' McKay- Fuimaono and the Royal Scots have played exceptionally well, ranking in the top 10. He hit on 15 of 19 passes for 232 yards and 3 TDs, with WR Lukes Dominguez finishing with 7 receptions for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns, in the 42-15 win over Central. Sanchez is one of the state's top LBs and has been the running the ball well, rushing 15 times for 134 yards and a 50-yard TD.
