Archie, helped the Raiders get back in the win column last week by having one of his best games of his career as a Raider. He recorded 12 tackles and three sacks in the Raiders 29-14 win over Madison St. Joseph. His ability to rush the pasher and play the run really stood out last week. Archie, was exceptional playing smart and physical football. The Bruins had no real answer for him.
Jaylen Brooks | JR | RB/LB | Ripley
Simply put, Brooks did it all last week in the Tigers matchup with Shannon. He was the definition of what people call iron man football. He He ran the ball 19 times for 93 yards and scored two touchdowns. Brooks ran with a physicality I have not seen from him this year againsty Shannon. Not only was he a star on offense but defensively also recorded eight tackles. Brooks is a two way star in the making for the Tigers.
Jacob Clearman | SR | WR/DB | Tri-County
Clearman stole the show for me Friday night when Tri-County took on Taylorsville. He was able to score a touchdown on both offense and defense this past Friday night. He had seven catches for 88 yards and touchdown along with recording five tackles and one interception that he returned for a 94 yard touchdown. Wthout the night Clearman had the Rebels would not have come a way with their big 40-35 win over Taylorsville.
JaVarius Fletcher | JR | RB | Puckett
Fletcher ran all over Leake County last week. He had 30 carries for 177 yards and five touchdowns in Pucketts 41-6 blowout win over Leake County. This was the first time I had seen Fletcher play and I have to say it was an absloute treat. I look for Fletcher to make some noise in the coming year and set himself up for an exciting senior season.
