An Augusta-area back who runs with balance and power, Kamga is one of the best backs in the area and one of the more productive backs across the state in the 2025 class. At 5-foot-8 175-pounds, Kamga has some elusiveness in his game and knows how to slip by defenders. He runs hard and breaks a lot of tackles with his physical nature. He does a good job of staying on his feet after initial contact and consistently falls forward at the end of runs. A natural runner who is only going to get better, the junior back is off to a great start to the season, rushing for 835 yards and 11 touchdowns through his first five games. He's rushed for over 120 yards in every game this season and has scored at least one touchdown in every game. His best game so far has come against Screven County where he rushed for 250 yards and four touchdowns. He's dominated at times this year, and if he continues, he could see some D1 offers come his way.

A new Atlanta-area back to know about with big-time track speed, Penson is a 5-foot-11 175-pound back who can really change a football game in a hurry. He's having an excellent junior season so far and has been one of the best 3A running backs in the state through the first several weeks of the season. A triple jump and 4x200-meter state champion, Penson's speed has translated well to the gridiron as he's rushed for 600 yards and 8 touchdowns so far this year, all while playing quarterback. He can throw the ball, but he's at his best when he's running through defenses. He sees the well, shows plenty of burst, and can break off a long gain. He currently holds offers from Vanderbilt, Ball State, & Austin Peay.

Corey Watkins Jr - Clarke Central

A shorter back, but an impressive one, this Athens native is a thick, balanced back who knows how to pick up yards after first contact. A shifty back who can change direction well, he's able to make defenders miss and get upfield for a big gain. He's off to a terrific start to the season, rushing for 571 yards and four touchdowns. He's averaging 114 yards per game and 6.4 yards per carry. He's got a great spin move and runs with power at the end of runs. He's got some explosiveness to his game and can be incredibly hard to bring down. He runs with effort and sees the field really well. If he sees a hole open up, he's going to try burst through it. The 5-foot-7 185-poundeer plays bigger than his size and is making defenses pay so far this year. He's a junior flying under the radar still.
