No. 12 Mario Easterly Mario Easterly 6'0" | 190 lbs | ATH Bishop McDevitt | 2022 State PA (JR) Defensive Back 6’0 180 – Bishop McDevitt HS
Mario is our 2nd ranked defensive back in this class, but he is the number one safety. He has the size, speed, and physicality you want in a safety. He is a good tackler who can be a hard hitter at times. He shows good hip movement. When he plays at the line of scrimmage, he puts his hands on the receiver immediately. See him really backpedal in one clip and looks stiff but shows to read and react well. He shows good ball skills when he plays receiver. Mario could be a receiver as well, but we really think he can play safety at a high level. He’s starting to get offers within the MAC, should be only a matter of time he’ll be getting Power 5 offers.
No. 18 Ryan Brubaker Ryan Brubaker 6'6" | 280 lbs | OL Cocalico | 2022 State PA (JR) Offensive Lineman 6’6 280 – Cocalico HS
Ryan is our 1st ranked offensive lineman. Not even knowing who he was to move up as the first ranked offensive lineman says a lot about this kid. He’s got great size and athletic. Ryan looks pretty good in pass protection and plays with great leverage. He drives his feet on contact and is physical. He had a few FBS and Ivy League offers, but his is first major offer didn’t come until a few days ago with Ole Miss. More big-time offers should be rolling in anytime.
No. 26 Brandon Lawhorn Moore Brandon Lawhorn Moore 6'5" | 290 lbs | OL Kiski | 2022 State PA (JR) Offensive Lineman 6’5 300 – Kiski Area HS
Brandon is our 3rd ranked offensive lineman. He is a big physical kid who drives feet on contact and plays through the whistle. Not much of a knee bender. He seems to have improved his athleticism and as a pass protector. He plays left and right tackle, think he is better suited at right tackle. Brandon has MAC offers but has been getting recruited by other Group of 5 schools.
No. 37 JD Younger JD Younger 5'11" | 190 lbs | DB Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2022 State PA (JR) Defensive Back 5’11 190 – Pittsburgh Central Catholic
JD is our 6th ranked defensive back. He has been productive and consistent in the back end of the defense as a 2nd-year starter. He has been a big reason why Central Catholic has been WPIAL 6A champions twice as a starter. From his sophomore and junior year combined he’s recorded, 63 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 4 pass breakups, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble. JD has performed extremely well at the highest level in PA. JD is being recruited by some MAC schools and starting to get some love with the Ivy League. Don’t sleep on this kid as a Power 5 recruit, because he has the ability to play at that level.
No. 38 Gavin Garcia Gavin Garcia 5'7" | 185 lbs | RB Southern Columbia | 2022 State PA (JR) Running Back 5’7 160 – Southern Columbia HS
Gavin is our 4th ranked running back. He is on the smaller side but proved to be an FBS running back this season. He made a major impact in Southern Columbia’s state championship run week in and week out. He shows good vision with good speed. He is quick who is on the shiftier side. He is also physical who likes contact, not afraid to run you over. In his junior season, he carried the ball 113 times rushing for almost 2,000 yards and 30 touchdowns. He also accounted for another 4 touchdowns in the receiving and return game. He should produce well if not better in his senior year.
No. 43 Coltin Deery Coltin Deery 6'4" | 275 lbs | OL Malvern Prep | 2022 State PA (JR) Offensive Lineman 6’4 275 – Malvern Prep
Coltin is our 5th ranked offensive lineman. He has good size. He is athletic, you will see him pull a lot on tape. He is also physical who is a finisher and drives his feet on contact. He does play high at times and shows to lunge at defenders. Coltin is an up and coming offensive lineman who just got one of his biggest offers earlier this month from Maryland.
No. 49 Devin Barren Devin Barren 6'0" | 180 lbs | DB Pittsburgh Central Catholic | 2022 State PA (JR) Defensive Back 6’1 180 – Pittsburgh Central Catholic
Devin is our 8th ranked defensive back. He is also the second Central Catholic guy on this list who rose. He definitely improved from his sophomore year. He shows quickness and good speed. A little slow coming out of his break but really accelerates to the ball carrier. He has good hips. He can be play corner or safety. Devin is physical and did improve his tackling from last season. It is surprising he has no offers yet, but he shows to be a Power 5 recruit.
