The freshman class this season is no different. The Mustangs appear to have another one in the pipeline in the form of Bonnett, who's carried the load as the team's leading running back and flashed upside as a kick returner. The freshman has toted the rock for 529 yards (4.4 YPC) and seven touchdowns. He's caught three passes for 19 yards and averaged 20.5 yards on a pair of kick returns. Bonnett, a strong all-around athlete, has found success in wrestling and track, too. His Hudl page does not contain any footage of Bonnett playing football. Beck has carried the ball 76 times for 458 yards and five touchdowns, and caught four passes for 97 yards and a score. Seven of his nine tackles are solo. We couldn't find a lot of footage to see what Beck looks like on the field. We were able to locate a couple of long touchdowns on Facebook that showed a prospect with a good feel for flowing with the play while running with speed and power. That was the case on <a href="https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1601832811293696" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1601832811293696">a TD against West Monona</a>. And again when he caught <a href="https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1058377053752231" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1058377053752231">a 46-yard score versus Logan-Magnolia</a>. He leads all Iowa freshmen with 39 receptions for 534 yards and nine touchdowns. He ranked second on the team with 40.5 tackles, 29 of which were of the solo variety. He's come up with 4.0 tackles for loss, a sack and three fumble recoveries. Marsh stood out in junior high track this past spring before helping the Stanton varsity baseball team in the summer. The Griswold ninth-grader had racked up 46.0 stops, 38 of which were solo stops. He registered 7.0 tackles for loss, a pair of sacks and an interception. He caught an 18-yard touchdown, which can be seen <a href="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/30610305/6aa69fa6cc567ba375017cf0" data-type="link" data-id="https://www.hudl.com/video/3/30610305/6aa69fa6cc567ba375017cf0">HERE</a>, and added 54 yards rushing. Orstad is a good athlete that also showed promise in the field events during junior high track. The ninth-grader collected 16.5 tackles, 10 of which were solo stops, through the first six games. He also picked up a tackle for loss. His Hudl page houses highlights from a pair of games. During the footage against Cedar Falls, we witness a prospect that does well identifying plays quickly and delivering open-field tackles. Against Iowa City West, he's quick to see what's heading his way again and blows up a play, forcing a fumble the Little Hawks recover.
