I wanted to start with our biggest group first, so after going behind the scenes and looking at three big-picture things of note, let's break down our seven ranked athletes.

2030 Athlete Evaluations

Editor's Note: With younger classes, we tend to have more athletes, as we're not entirely sure which position some of these guys will play in college, even if they have a primary position in high school.

Hawkins is doing it all as a freshman, and he looks like a future Power Four prospect. A second-generation A.C. Reynolds star, Harper looks like a potential star. Cochran probably ends up as a full-time receiver, but he's played some defensive back and is comfortable there, too. He has a nice feel near the sidelines, and flashes excellent ball skills. A multi-sport athlete, Cochran is an excellent basketball player. That translates when the ball is in the air, as he's a bouncy receiver who can go up and get the ball in 50/50 situations.
