The senior QB hit on 16/26 passes for 226 yards and 5 TDs, with the reigning conference POY Bailey rushing 31 times for 235 yards and catching 3 balls for 44 more.

[player_tooltip player_id='2411531' first='Andre' last='Carter'] 27' WR Anacortes

Maybe Washington's breakout player of the year. The 6-3 190 pound WR was unreal in the 48-47 triple OT victory over reigning 2A state champ Archbishop Murphy. On the night, he caught 15 passes for 233 yards and 4 touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='1671389' first='Teaven' last='Jones'] 27' DE/OLB Mt Tahoma

The state sack leader from last year Jones had a huge night against 2x reigning state champ Sumner, coming up just short in the 22-20 loss. He made 8 tackles, with 2 TFL's, and 1 sack. The T-Birds have played a brutally tough schedule thus far with losses to Waipahu, Hawaii and Kennedy Catholic as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2065189' first='Jaysen' last='Beasley'] 27' WR Sageview

Beasley has been one of the best players in Washington thus far going for 9 TD's and 600+ all-purpose yards over the first three weeks. Sageview didn't win a game last year and sits at 3-0 right now, with the senior WR catching 8 passes for 164 yards and 2 TDs in the 33-28 win over Richland.

[player_tooltip player_id='984867' first='Jayden' last='Baum'] 28' QB, [player_tooltip player_id='2398879' first='Daeshaun' last='Washington'] 30' ATH Evergreen

This was a big win for 3A Evergreen on the road, beating a quality 4A Woodinville program 35-26. Baum will likely be adding offers in the near future. He passed for 3 TD's and ran for another, with one of the nation's top freshman Washington catching 2 more. He has backed up the hype and then some early this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2152682' first='Sullivan' last='Sandusky'] 28' QB, [player_tooltip player_id='2118707' first='Calvin' last='Killian'] 28' WR Lewis & Clark

This was a crucial night in the Greater Spokane League. Lewis & Clark got the 37-33 win over Cheney with Sandusky hitting Killian with 23 seconds left. The 6-3 junior QB looks to be the real deal, going 28 of 34 for 371 yards and 3 passing TD's. He also rushed 21 times for 81 yards and a touchdown. Killian is also only a junior and caught 12 passes for 162 yards and 2 TD's.

[player_tooltip player_id='2411532' first='Niko' last='Ahhi'] 27' ATH Clarkston

2A Clarkston isn't exactly a team we talk about a lot. They got a nice 63-6 win over North Central, with the 6-0 dual sport standout Ahhi scoring 5 total TD's, with 6 receptions for 160 yards and 3 receiving touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='2381183' first='Jacob' last='Korotkov'] 27' RB / [player_tooltip player_id='2381190' first='Tayton' last='Jackman'] 27' RB/S Southridge

Another big week for the Southridge duo with the team getting a clutch 30-27 win over conference power Chiawana. Korotkov did his thing out of the backfield, rushing 14 times for 133 yards while also making 8 tackles with 3 TFL's. Jackman came up with the game winning stop defensively while also leading the team with 12 tackles.

Jayden Hinchcliffe 27' LB/RB/[player_tooltip player_id='1892956' first='Tyler' last='Briscoe'] 27' RB Tumwater

Tumwater continues to leave no doubt on who is the top 2A program in Washington early on, beating a solid Mount Si team 48-12. Hinchcliffe and Briscoe combined to rush 37 times for 270 yards and 3 TDs in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1971512' first='Korben' last='Reed'] 27' RB Lakes

The 5-9 175-pound Reed was the man against Curtis, rushing 9 times for 106 yards and 3 touchdowns, in the 32-22 win. It was a big victory against a good opponent after losing 8-7 to 2A W.F. West the week prior.

[player_tooltip player_id='2411534' first='Nick' last='Ariza'] 27' QB, [player_tooltip player_id='2112416' first='Grant' last='Petersen'] 27' WR, Rowan Phillips 29' WR University

University came back in a big way after losing in OT to Cheney 31-28 in week 2. They blasted traditional power Gonzaga Prep 34-7 who moved to 0-3 for the first time since 1935. The QB Ariza was almost perfect, going 22/25 for 235 yards and 4 touchdowns. One of the state's top 2027 WR's Petersen caught 13 balls with 2 TD's with the sophomore Phillips hauling in 8 receptions for 62 yards and 2 touchdowns.

[player_tooltip player_id='2100370' first='Connor' last='Collins'] 27' QB Cheney

The 1st team all state returner Collins had a nice night in the 37-33 last second loss to Lewis & Clark. He was 19/33 for 286 yards and 3 TD's, to go with a rushing touchdown as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2213886' first='Kalama' last='Roberson'] 28' RB Walla Walla

Don't look now but the Blue Devils continue to get better. Walla Walla moved to 2-1 with the very versatile junior standout Roberson scoring 3 more TD's in the 38-7 win over Hanford.

[player_tooltip player_id='986701' first='J'Shaun' last='Wilson'] 28' RB O'Dea

Once again Wilson went off in the 49-0 win over Bishop Blanchet, averaging close to 50 yards per carry. He rushed 3 times for 147 yards and 2 Tds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2407188' first='Adarius' last='Sparrow'] 28' WR, [player_tooltip player_id='2411536' first='Dugan' last='Logue'] 27' QB, [player_tooltip player_id='1568793' first='David' last='Dudko'] 27' LB/RB Skyview

The junior Sparrow had a breakout night with 3 TD receptions, with the QB Logue connecting on all three, in the 38-21 win over GSHL rival Camas. The all-conference LB Dudko did his thing on D and also rushed for 2 touchdowns offensively. The Storm moved to 3-0 and will play a good Battle Ground team who sits at 3-0 as well this week.

[player_tooltip player_id='2411538' first='Carter' last='Bendewald'] 28' RB Kennewick

The 6-0 180-pound junior RB was clutch in the team's 22-17 win over Kamiakin, rushing 17 times for 147 yards and 2 Tds. We don't talk a lot about the Kennewick athletes, but each year they are one of the state's most consistent programs.

Each week we will highlight Washington's top performers which includes athletes from all classifications.
