Under The Radar Prospects Having a Big Year

It hasn't just come from easy completions either. Max excels at pushing the ball downfield. He has made some extremely difficult throws 20+ yards downfield with regularity. He shows some clean and consistent mechanics, and has done a great job of making confident decisions with no hesitation. He is a no fear QB that pushes the ball vertically. He lets it fly with great touch and has quite a few highlights where he lays an absolutely beautiful ball where only his guy can get it. Not only that, he does a good job of anticipating when throwing lanes are opening up and getting the ball to his guy with good timing and accuracy. Logan has played a vital role in how domininant this team has been up front. He's an absolutely brutal blocker in the run game, regularly firing off the ball with an impressive first step and overwhelming defenders. Not only is he physicaly imposing, but he can do it on the move as well. Whether he pulls or just releases straight to the second level, he has no issue moving and engaging in space. He does have some solid reps as a pass blocker as well, keeping everything in front of him and countering pass rush moves. He reads and reacts quickly, and comes flying in and lays some devastating hits. He's big and physical, and can disengage from blocks to make plays, or just flat out crumple lead blockers. There are plenty of examples on film of Dominic beating blockers to the point of attack and winning 1 on 1 reps against the ball carrier. He has also flashed some ability to cover in space thanks to his above average agility and his length that allows him to contest everything. Javon is big and physical, but he has light feet for his size and is clean and consistent with his technique. He could rely on his size and strength alone, but he does a good job of staying square, not leaning or reaching and finishing blocks downfield. At right tackle, he also does a great job in pass protection. He slides but doesn't overset, and does a great job of washing them out of the play completely when defenders overcommit. Javon is a kid with a super high ceiling just needing some continued coaching, but is getting great coaching in a great program in the meantime! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
