PRZMD Week 2 highlight evaluations: Under-the-radar prospects

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With Week 2 in the books for the MPSSAA, I take a look at the Week 2 highlights of prospects who tagged me in their social media post. One of the smallest players on the field lines up at one of the toughest positions on defense: middle linebacker. In the first two plays of his highlights, he's in position to make lower-leg tackles at the second level in between the tackles. On the third play, he shows quick pursuit to tackle a receiver after a short catch, stopping his momentum. A couple of plays later, Benjamin shows great closing speed and surprising physicality on a tackle of a running back catching a swing pass. He runs through the ball carrier while making the tackle for a loss. The interception that he makes is a result of him defending his zone area, reading the quarterback's eyes, and catching a poorly thrown pass by Arundel's quarterback. Listed as an athlete, most of his plays come from him playing the cornerback position. On the first play of his highlights, he catches an errant pitch by the quarterback, causing a turnover. Manning makes strong and physical tackles, as proven on both a passing play when he tackles the receiver and drives him backward, and a run play where he doesn't give up outside containment and makes another solid tackle. Johnson lines up at both the inside and outside linebacker positions for his team. Whether he's coming off the edge or patrolling the middle of the defense, he beats blockers to spots and closes downhill in a hurry. Shows that he can maintain a consistent pad level on contact, wrap up, and drive through the ball carrier. On his TFLs, he reacted quickly to his run keys, but his closing speed really lets him turn those plays into losses for the offense. Undersized, but able to use his quickness to shoot the gaps and make plays. In this case, it's not a negative to say that Faulcon is an athlete who plays quarterback. With the way he makes plays with his legs, it makes sense to put the ball in the hands of the best playmaker on the team. Based on the Week 2 highlights I watched, Faulcon is good enough to complete short-to-intermediate passes and throw the occasional deep ball downfield. He's fast and has a lot of wiggle to his game.
