#14 Westview @ #1 West Linn -44.5 (West Linn 56 Westview 10)

Much respect to Westview and their non-conference schedule. The Lions are a clear cut #1 in my opinion.

#2 Tualatin -40 @ #10 Glencoe (Tualatin 50 Glencoe 13)

This will be an important game for the T-Wolves to prove themselves and play 4 full quarters.

#4 Central Catholic @ #3 Lake Oswego -14.5 (Lake Oswego 38 Central Catholic 19)

The reigning state champs can continue to make a statement with a definitive win over CC. LO has the most impressive perimeter in the state.

#3 (5A) Silverton @ #5 Grants Pass EVEN (Silverton 27 Grants Pass 25)

This is incredibly tough to call, but something tells me Silverton figured things out after week zero, and will be the #1 ranked 5A team in the state before long.

#6 Nelson -19.5 @ #9 Oregon City (Nelson 35 Oregon City 13)

As referenced on the podcast, Nelson is the fastest rising program in Oregon. Separate from QB [player_tooltip player_id='1242808' first='Braylon' last='Gaines'], Duck commit [player_tooltip player_id='937176' first='Malachi' last='Garlington'], and elite 28' [player_tooltip player_id='2105973' first='Jalen' last='Crichton'], the D stepped up big in the 38-0 win over Jesuit last week.

#7 Sherwood @ #12 Willamette -2.5 (Willamette 24 Sherwood 23)

I would expect an epic battle with Willamette fighting to the death not to go 0-3.

#8 Mountainside -32 @ West Salem (Mountainside 46 West Salem 10)

Shawn Stanley of West Salem will be in the Oregon HS Football Hall of Fame, but the 31-14 loss to Sheldon last week was telling.

#11 Sprague @ #13 Jesuit -1 (Jesuit 27 Sprague 26)

The Oly's from Sprague are actually a really good team. Somehow, I think the Crusaders figure it out at home and get the win.

Sunset @ #15 Tigard -22.5 (Tigard 38 Sunset 21)

Sunset was not impressive, losing to PIL Roosevelt at home last week. This game will be much tougher.

(6A) North Medford @ #1 Wilsonville -9 (Wilsonville 35 North Medford 22)

North deserves credit for their non-league schedule thus far (Lakeridge, #2 Mountain View, #1 Wilsonville). I would expect Wilsonville to show up ready with the Black Tornado losing a close one to Mt View last week 27-20.

#2 Mountain View -29.5 @ South Medford (Mountain View 39 South Medford 14)

This isn't the South Medford team from the last few years. Mountain View has two quality wins against #5 West Albany and a rising 6A North Medford program.

#4 Summit -9.5 @ Sheldon (Summit 27 Sheldon 20)

I would bet this ends up being a really good football game. Sheldon looked good last week in the 31-14 win over West Salem after a losing a close one to Thurston in week Zero.

Milwaukie @ #5 West Albany -40 (West Albany 52 Milwaukie 13)

The Bulldogs of West Albany dropped the hammer on a good Thurston program last week. This could get ugly quick.

(4A) #1 Cascade -1 @ #6 Sandy (Cascade 29 Sandy 27)

This might be the best Sandy team in school history so it's a tough game to call, but the reigning 4A champs return multiple D1 projected guys and play no non-sense football. It could go either way.

Newberg @ #7 Dallas -32.5 (Dallas 36 Newberg 8)

As mentioned 34 times already, [player_tooltip player_id='1878396' first='Aidan' last='Galusha'] is a 5A POY candidate and will go for 300+ all-purpose yards in multiple games including this one.

#8 Canby @ #11 Ridgeview EVEN (Ridgeview 21 Canby 20)

I'm a big advocate of head coach Jimmy Joyce at Canby but Ridgeview has been super impressive. This is a coinflip.

#10 Liberty -35 @ Beaverton (Liberty 45 Beaverton 7)

This will be over by half. The Falcons could make some noise at the 5A level.

#12 Aloha -3 @ North Salem (Aloha 24 North Salem 22)

North looked good in their 31-6 win over Hillsboro last week, but Aloha is the breakout team of the year at the 5A level. The 34-33 win over Lebanon last Friday was huge for the program.
