Carmel – 2028)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 6'4” 305 pound offensive lineman has gone up against legit competition in the first two weeks and he has played well.&nbsp; Left guard is a dancing bear with his size and movement skills.&nbsp; High level pass protector that can anchor, mirror, and keeps defenders at bay with consistency.&nbsp; Hits well on the move pulling in space.&nbsp; Really impressed by his pass blocking upside long term.&nbsp; Look for him to make a massive debut in our next rankings update!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>OL [player_tooltip player_id='2336672' first='Xander' last='Hopkins'] (Champaign Central – 2029)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hopkins goes 6'2” and 295 pounds.&nbsp; He has a wide base as a left guard that does a nice job anchoring in pass protection.&nbsp; Those defenders often end up with a trip to the ground as he is super powerful along with nimble on his feet.&nbsp; Like the upside at the guard position.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>OL [player_tooltip player_id='2236158' first='Ryan' last='Badon'] (Plainfield East – 2027)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Big left tackle that anchors extremely well against edge rushers.&nbsp; He goes 6'5” 290 pounds.&nbsp; Trunks for legs and is hard to get past with any kind of bull rush.&nbsp; Good set and uses his length well against on coming rushers.&nbsp; Extremely powerful with his punch.&nbsp; Really like him as a sleeper in the 2027 class that someone can get value with!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
