There is always someone new for us to find and shine our spotlight upon. In our newest article on Prep Redzone WI we take a look at our newest finds and hidden gems on the offensive side of the ball. We have a powerhouse of an RB, several up and coming QBs, and a few dynamic athletes as well. These athletes are going to be game changers the rest of this season and most of them will be for years to come as the majority are juniors or younger. The 6'1" 205 lbs junior is a huge RB and he plays like he knows it. This kid runs insanely angry, never lets his feet quit, and is aided by a very strong center of gravity to help him keep his feet. The first play of the highlights linked below show off that forceful running style. That power shows up in his cuts too as he slices between the tackles. This kid is a special talent and one of the better power runners that I have seen this season. The senior WR is an extremely explosive athlete. This summer he verified that with elite testing numbers that included a 4.09 pro agility, 9'10.5" broad jump, 6.97 L-Drill, and 37.9" vertical jump. Those numbers have translated to the field where Greyson has dominated with an explosive release and acceleration. Plus very effective route running that has helped him to open up plenty of separation for his QB. The senior has had plenty of interest, but I believe he is still looking for his first offer. This is going to be a QB that will need to be followed closely over the next 2.5 seasons. Ryder is technically sound. He can get the ball out quickly thanks to a prototypical release and throwing motion plus he plays on very quick feet that can set and reset quickly if he has to avoid pressure. The arm strength is developing and has a lot of time to do that, but right now he is winning with touch and next level accuracy. I'm very excited to watch Ryder chase his high ceiling. Tim has taken over at the QB position for the varsity team. That isn't where he fits best at the next level, but his traits fit the Badger offense QB role. He can get the job done throwing the ball around. Tim is a natural athlete who can get the ball out without getting his feet set. His top tools are what he can do with his legs. The junior ATH is fast, beating defenders to the edge and into the open field. He is also lightning quick, allowing him to excel at making defenders miss and navigate traffic. Rylan is a massive athlete checking in at 6'5" 190 lbs. The pocket passer is raw, but the tools are so intriguing. The big frame is already able to create enough velocity on the ball to be able to effectively attack the entire field and hit tight windows, but as he refines his mechanics he could become even more efficient and powerful with his attempts. It is easy to see big things ahead for the junior QB between his size and live arm. Carter is developing a 6'3" 165 lbs frame that has the potential to fill out into a great QB build ready for the next level by his senior season. Carter is a naturally gifted passer. The mechanics look effortless as he stays square over his feet and quickly gets through his drop and steps and drives the ball to his target. Carter has a well developed arm as well. He already possesses the accuracy and smart ball placement of a seasoned veteran. It is great to see that he is building up experience at the varsity level and performing well while doing so.
