A running back/wide receiver and defensive back, Hughes caught seven passes for 101 yards and a touchdown, and recorded 13 tackles -- two tackles for loss -- in Massabesic's 22-18 victory. Hughes, a team captain, also intercepted a pass and forced a fumble. He completed 21-of-36 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns in a 25-21 victory over Fryeburg Academy. Cony trailed 21-19 and had the ball on its own 37-yard line with 1:23 to play and scored the go-ahead TD on a 15-yard pass from Lindquist to Oliver Odom with 2.9 seconds left. Hau caught a 38-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Micah Derrig that put the Navigators up 28-27 with 6:62 left, and also had an 8-yard touchdown reception earlier in the game. He completed 12-of-24 passes for 343 yards and five touchdowns, and also ran the ball 18 times for 127 yards and a touchdown. His defensive contributions inlcluded 12 tackles and a blocked field goal. He completed 5 of 10 passes for 72 yards, and ran for 115 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. He scored on a 3-yard run to cap Bonny Eagle's game-opening drive, and added a 1-yard TD on the Scots' first drive in the second half.
