The men up front: The offensive line paved the way Thursday for an absolute explosion of total offense, racking up 661 total yards, including a dominant 446 yards on the ground and another 215 yards through the air. They completely controlled the line of scrimmage all night long, providing clean protection and consistently establishing a powerful push up front.

Here are the trench leaders who anchored that performance:

[player_tooltip player_id='2135449' first='Gavin' last='White'] | So. | C | 6', 250

The leader in the middle gets off the ball well and generates movement in the middle, helping establish the interior run game. Only a sophomore, White already brings excellent size to the middle at 6-foot, 250 pounds. He provides a strong presence at center and has considerable developmental upside. With two more seasons ahead of him, his combination of size and youth makes him an intriguing prospect whose stock could continue to rise.

[player_tooltip player_id='2139497' first='Kalief' last='Barfield'] | So. | G | 6', 250

Shows a very physical approach and gets noticeable push at the point of attack. Barfield has one of the stronger physical profiles in the group at 6-foot, 250 pounds. He's stout at the point of attack but also shows good athleticism and movement for his size. He's still developing physically and technically, giving him plenty of room to continue climbing as a recruiting prospect.

An important piece of a Lincoln Northeast front. Low center of gravity. Good leverage and generates a good surge. Heart and the weight room can make an O-lineman. Whether or not playing at the next level is in his plans, his work up front deserves recognition as part of a productive Rockets offensive line!

Xavier Kusek | Sr. | G | 5'11", 210

Plays with good power inside and works well in combination blocks. Consistently moved whoever set up across the line from him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2229335' first='Zach' last='Buescher'] | Sr. | T | 6'0", 220

Does a good job engaging and driving his defender to help create running lanes. Brings good size and toughness up front at 6-foot, 220 pounds. He has the frame to continue adding weight and strength, and while he can play on the edge at the high school level, his build could project him more naturally to an interior position at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2229327' first='Daceson' last='Morgan'] | Sr. | T | 5'10", 220

Morgan good at initial push and stays engaged, helping secure the edge. 220-pound frame and plays with good toughness up front. His size likely projects him to the interior at the next level, but continued work in the weight room could allow him to build into that role. With the right development and commitment, he has the potential to become a prospect for a smaller-college program.
