Early Season Offensive Standouts

Sullivan is an accurate quarterback who fits the football into tight coverage with ease. Meanwhile, he is not afraid to test the opposing secondary with the deep shot downfield. Through the first couple of weeks of the season, Sullivan has thrown for 814 yards. He is a player to watch out for as conference play approaches.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1402982' first='Ezekiel' last='Carrethers']-Wide Receiver-Sylvan Hills-6'2” 180-Pounds-2028</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1402982' first='Ezekiel' last='Carrethers'] excels at creating separation from opposing defensive backs. He uses his crisp route running ability to consistently create separation. Meanwhile, he has the speed to stretch the field vertically. Last week against Fayetteville, Carrethers had 10 receptions for 218 yards and two touchdowns. He continues to play at a high level and is a player to watch as the season progresses.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1598429' first='Titus' last='Benson']-Quarterback-Baptist Prep-6'0” 187-Pounds-2029</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One prospect who has continued to open eyes each week of this young season is Baptist Prep's [player_tooltip player_id='1598429' first='Titus' last='Benson']. Benson is a signal caller who can hurt opposing defenses using both his arm and his legs. Benson has thrown for almost 800 yards and rushed for over 100 yards this season. Meanwhile, he has 14 total touchdowns to his credit this season. Nine touchdowns have come through the air, and five have come on the ground. Jefferson is another signal caller who has thrown the football with impressive accuracy. The first three weeks of the season he has thrown for 693 yards on 34 of 50 passing. He has rushed for 130 yards and has nine total touchdowns to his credit this season. Buss has picked opposing defenses apart to the tune of 77% completion rate this season. Buss has 10 passing touchdowns to his credit this season to go along with 963 yards through the air. Buss has rushed for 144 yards and four touchdowns. Buss is a player to watch the remainder of the season for Fountain Lake.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
