The Salt Bowl this year features two teams who are likely to make deep playoff runs. [player_tooltip player_id='1669851' first='Samuel' last='Nelson'] with the Bryant Hornets, is a player who has a motor that does not stop. Nelson sheds blocks quickly and gets into the opposing offensive backfield. He can disrupt the opposing offenses run or passing attacks. Nelson is a player to watch out for this week. He is a player I expect to have a big season for the Hornets.

Bentonville West has talented prospects all over the defensive secondary. [player_tooltip player_id='1683284' first='Ashton' last='Jones'] at the safety position defends against the pass well but can also move it up to stop the run. He has impressive speed and can make up for any mistakes in the secondary. Jones does a great job of playing the ball in the air. Meanwhile, he will separate the ball from the ball carrier with ease. Jones will be counted on this when Bentonville West takes on Greenwood.

[player_tooltip player_id='1202917' first='Kalen' last='Summons']-Edge-North Little Rock-6'0” 230-Pounds-2028

[player_tooltip player_id='1202917' first='Kalen' last='Summons'] is a prospect who will likely see playing time on both sides of the ball. Summons comes off of the edge quickly and gets into the offensive backfield. He has a good mix of speed and power. Summons is able to shut down the run as well as the past. North Little Rock takes on Rogers this week. Summons is a player to keep an eye on over the next few weeks.

The Jacksonville linebacker is a prospect who is always around the ball carrier. Ross Jr. is a player who uses his quickness to his advantage to get sideline to sideline. He has the speed to drop back into pass coverage. Ross Jr. can stop the run or the pass. Jacksonville takes on Watson Chapel this week. Ross Jr. is a prospect to keep an eye on with the Titans over the next few weeks.

He uses his speed well to stick with opposing wide receivers. He does a good job of using his hands to jam receivers at the line of scrimmage. Bailey plays the ball in the air. He is able to separate the ball from the ball carrier. Fayetteville takes on Stillwater this week.
