Quarterbacks put up video-game numbers, running backs took over games and receivers found the end zone repeatedly. Here are five offensive players who stood out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Jaxton Ohren | QB | Highland</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Highland quarterback Jaxton Ohren turned in one of the biggest performances of Week 2, throwing for a reported <strong>441 yards</strong> as the Bulldogs knocked off Althoff Catholic <strong>28-21</strong>. The junior followed up a 330-yard, three-touchdown performance in Week 1 with another huge night through the air, giving him a reported <strong>771 passing yards through two games</strong>. Peterson repeatedly created explosive plays through the air and nearly led Geneva to a comeback victory against a quality opponent. The loss keeps it from being a perfect night, but <strong>445 yards and five touchdowns</strong> is impossible to overlook when talking about the best offensive performances of Week 2.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Isaak Brokemeier | WR | Metro-East Lutheran</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Metro-East Lutheran's Isaak Brokemeier made the most of nearly every opportunity, catching <strong>five passes for 218 yards and four touchdowns</strong> in a 78-40 victory over Martinsville. Brokemeier averaged an incredible <strong>43.6 yards per reception</strong>, with four of his five catches ending in the end zone. He also made a major impact defensively, but his offensive production alone was more than enough to earn a spot among the week's top performers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading {"level":3} --> <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Brady Clendenen | QB | Carrollton</h3> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Carrollton quarterback Brady Clendenen was incredibly efficient in a <strong>48-6 win over Mendon Unity</strong>, completing <strong>5-of-7 passes for 189 yards and four touchdowns</strong> while adding <strong>123 rushing yards and two touchdowns on five carries</strong>. Sellers averaged nearly 12 yards per carry and provided the explosive rushing attack Joliet Central needed in a game decided by a single point. A 200-yard rushing night is impressive on its own, but doing it in a one-point victory makes Sellers' performance even more significant.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
