Harding Academy 2026 Team Preview

The Wildcats made the playoffs last season and fell to Farmington in the opening round. Whether he is using his arm to fit the football into tight windows or using his legs to extend drives on the ground. Wray is athletic enough to be a consistent threat running the football. Meanwhile, he is not afraid to test the opposing secondary with the deep shot down the field. Wray is a player to watch out for this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2192395' first='Easton' last='Baker']-Linebacker-Harding Academy-6'0” 215-Pounds-2027</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Wildcats return plenty of experience on the defensive side of the ball this season. Baker earned all-conference honors last season. Baker reads the play well and is always around the ball carrier. He has the speed to get sideline-to-sideline and does a great job of bringing down the opposing ball carrier. Simmons plays the safety spot for the Wildcats and has earned all-state honors for his ability to disrupt the opposing passing game. Simmons reads the play well. He has no problem moving up to defend against the run as well as the pass. The Harding Academy prospect is a player to watch out for this upcoming season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Joseph Myles-Wide Receiver-Harding Academy-6'2” 195-Pounds-2027</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Joseph Myles at the wide receiver spot for Harding Academy is a problem for opposing secondaries to contend with on the field. He is a wide receiver who has great speed. Myles does not have trouble using his speed to create separation from opposing defensive backs. Myles earned all-state honors last season, and I would not be at all surprised to see him do the same this season. Myles has the ability to play on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Rhett Watson-Defensive Back-Harding Academy-6'1” 175-Pounds-2027</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rhett Watson is a player lurking in the secondary with the ability to completely shut down one side of the field. Watson has the quickness needed to stay with most receivers and will separate the ball from the ball carrier. He is the kind of defensive back who will move up to defend against the run.
