That disappointing finish should provide plenty of motivation heading into 2026, especially with a strong group of returning players returning. Adding Calhoun County QB Brennen Carpenter should give them an experienced option at the most important position on the field, while Roane County has consistently developed quality linemen to fill the voids up front. Head coach Paul Burdette has built this program into one of Class AA's most consistent teams, and that depth should keep the Raiders in a strong position. Starcher rushed for more than 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns while adding 50 tackles and 5 TFLs on defense. His production as a runner shows what he can bring offensively, but linebacker is where his physical tools and overall game make him especially intriguing as a college prospect. He has a good frame and the athleticism to play at the next level and should catch college attention this fall. His athleticism stands out when he's healthy and is a standout playmaker with the ball in his hands while also making an impact defensively. He also gives the Raiders the flexibility to throw the ball more to keep defenses honest. Cottrell produced more than 700 all-purpose yards offensively while making 88 tackles and picking off 4 passes on defense, showing the type of production he can bring to both sides of the ball. There isn't game film available to evaluate yet, but those numbers point to a player who should make an immediate impact at his new program. Greathouse is strong at the point of attack and has the athletic ability to chase down ball carriers from behind. He added 40 tackles and an interception on defense, showing his ability to contribute on both sides of the ball at a high level. He brings a good frame and athletic ability to work with and has plenty of room to continue developing over the next two years.
