Versatile Athletes to Eyeball This Fall

The Missouri 2027 rankings reboot continues with a film dive into a group of prospects that got it done multiple ways at the prep level. Some may project to a prime position for the next level, while others bring position versatility into the equation. Coaches value good all around football players as a measure of athleticism and competitiveness. State qualifier in three events - 100m (10.96 PR), and running anchor in the 4x1 and 4x2 relays. Also ran the 200m where he recorded times as high as 22.77. First Team All State RB/SAF, listed at 6000 200, finished 2025 with 83 TKL, 6.5 TFL, 6 INT, 5 PBU, 1 FF, 2 FR on defense. 1687 all purpose yards and 22 TDs offensively, 1374 yards, 7.2 yards per carry, 21 TDs on the ground. Very good initial burst and juice. Strong contact balance, can take hits. Runs hard with forward lean, can run through the defense with enough speed to finish. Beats perimeter angles, turns upfield aggressively, has plant foot explosion. Competes with great effort defensively. Currently holds offers from the Academies, Ivys, FCS and Division II programs. Reports a 4.35 GPA.     Multi-sport athlete, listed at 5100 170, competitive track athlete in multiple disciplines. Recorded 100m PR 10.77, 200m PR 23.31, 400m PR 42.29, runs anchor in 4x1 and 4x2 relays, and long jump PR 21'5. Was pulled up to varsity as a freshman. Versatile player used at corner, receiver, and returner. Big time playmaker for his program, one of the best in Missouri. Good play speed, natural ball skills, catches with hands at full speed and converts to ball carrier. Good route runner, a threat at all levels of the passing tree. Competitive defensively, good recovery speed, smart and anticipative. Productive player at his level, and top target in the passing game for his club. Took in his only offer from Harvard in November and immediately committed. Has talent to attract much more interest in the months to come.     Good sized versatile athlete with a track background, ran 11.56 100m in spring 2025 and threw shot. Verified at 6020 218 at Lindenwood in June, tested at 4.58x40, 29.9vj, 9'5bj. Finished 2025 with 80 TKL, 350 RUSH YDS and 9 TD, 531 RET YDS and 3 TD. Physical backer aligned at the MIKE. Good lateral fluidity, quick to read and react, scrapes across the back of the defensive front like he's gliding. Takes on and sheds blocks. Plays physical on the offensive side of the ball as well, runs through and over people, productive with the ball in hand. Great size, speed, explosiveness combo as a kick returner. He is an all around football player. Has a Division I and Division II offer. Expect his stock to jump this fall with this type of continued multi-faceted production at his level. Reports a 4.0 GPA.     Multi-sport athlete with play history on the diamond. Measured in at 5100 163 at Lindenwood in June, and tested 4.76x40, 29.7vj, 9'5bj. Only played five games in 2025 due to injury. Athletic, shifty athlete that plays the quarterback position but will project elsewhere at the next level. Certainly could play quarterback for programs at lower levels, but has much higher upside and value as a receiver or defensive back. Looks like a playmaker with the ball in his hand, laterally quick and loose changing direction, can make defenders miss, good speed. Could be converted to a receiver or corner and be a weapon with his overall athletic ability. With Division I potential, programs at multiple divisions likely have him on the board at multiple positions.     Broke out in 2025 as a big playmaker for his program on both sides of the ball. Racked up 1742 all purpose yards, 1091 rushing with 19 TD, 370 receiving and 1 TD. On defense, 106 TKL, 9 TFL, 5 SK, 2 PBU, 1 INT. Earned First Team All State Offense honors in Class 5. Plays with great competitive toughness, play strength, average to above average speed. Goes hard both ways and makes meaningful plays on both sides of the ball. Has some creativity to him with the ball. Tough kid, takes contact, will throw a shoulder into defenders, has very good contact balance. Punches above his frame, has edge to him, lots of energy and juice. Likely projects best as an all purpose back with his size and versatility on offense. Has Division II offers currently, looking to build on that this fall. Reports a 3.1 GPA.     Listed at 6020 225, Wilkes appears in multiple alignments on both sides of the ball and received All State, All Conference and All District honors for his work offensively. Finished 2025 with 29 REC, 470 YDS, 6 TD, 16.2 YPR. Contributed 84 TKL and 1 INT from the linebacker position. Good size with second level build and great versatility at his level, showing up at FB/HBACK/TE/WR/LB/SAF. Looks to be able to provide some position versatility at the next level. Has the frame to project to HBACK or FB with the productivity in the passing game to flex out to WR/TE and run some routes creating mismatches. Has the athletic ability to make plays with the ball after the catch. Runs with a nice fluid stride and can outrun defenders at his level. With limited tape, he is one to watch his fall.
