Igwebuike is a 6'3” 225 pound rising senior who has been the #1 linebacker in the class from the first time the class was evaluated. Easy to see why as he is an impact player going both forward and backwards. What we love about Igwebuike is his ability to cover as well as any linebacker in the state in space along with being a ferocious run stuffer that flies to the ball sideline to sideline. Under appreciated for what he does as a pass rusher being able to get after the quarterback on blitzes, off the edge, along with running them down when they are on the roll.
As a junior for the 8A state champions he had 115 tackles, 13.5 TFL, 7 sacks, 2 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 3 pass break ups, and 17 quarterback pressures.
