Team Preview - Clear Falls Knights

The Knights enter the season as one of the top teams in a strong and competitive district. They finished last season with a record of 7-4, going 5-2 in district play finishing 4th. They return 5 starters on offense and 5 starters on defense, bringing players back with experience and the talent to dominate a game. The Knights have some standout players on both sides of the ball who will lead the way both emotionally and physically on the field. Coach Head has a solid group who will compete and look to separate from a tightly contested district.   <hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity" />   One of the top returning players for the Knights offense will be senior receiver Graysonn Sneed. At 6'2, 190, Sneed is a threat on the outside in one-on-ones. He has strong hands and is elusive after the catch, gaining those extra yards and breaking tackles in the open field. Last season Sneed caught 27 catches for 427 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns. Another player to watch out for is senior receiver Chace Rieman. Rieman is a playmaker and a valued target. He is a strong route runner at all three levels and is shifty with the ball in his possession. He finished last season with 25 catches for 442 yards and 3 touchdowns. The o-line will be a group to pay attention to as well, with returning seniors Andrew Maston and Hunter Brierty. At quarterback, we will get a look at senior Reid Jeffrey. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2167690' first='Tristan' last='Gaviria'] and Briggs Worthington are the heart and soul of the team. Both are returning following 110+ tackles and 10+ TFLs seasons. The fly to the ball and are extremely active, especially in the run game. This tandem will be the leaders needed on defense and everything will follow their play. Another key player to know defensively is senior Mario Cresta. Cresta can play in the slot or as the outside backer coming off of the edge. He is comfortable in space and has an incredible motor, chasing plays down from the backside.
