Sioux Falls 2029 Climbers Edition

We put a circle around the city of Sioux Falls and took a look at some probable climers when the 2029 rankings come out here very soon (likely next week) as we get the ball rolling to seeing what they can with thier 2026 fall seasons.    Zaki is a 2029 athlete from Sioux Falls Washington that played all over the place for the Warriors in his freshmen season. There's plenty to like about him at as far as upside as the quarterback position as Zaki has more arm strength and solid ball placement than you would expect for his size at the moment. There's plenty of opportunity to grow for this young man at a few different spots positionally in the Warriors offense and I'll be intrigued as to where he getes most of his time as far as reps heading into his sophomore season.     Prince is a running back that should be in our top-tier in the running back group when the South Dakota 2029 rankings come out as another one from Washington that caught my attention. He's got a well-versed frame already for his age as the 5'9 188 pounder is more elusive than you might think at those measurables. He's also got good contact balance which you would expect, but his ability to get off would-be tacklers and utilize his change of direction is another skillset that intrigues me with Prince. He also has growing vision when he gets in tight spaces that should contiue to grow out of this RB 2029 group.     I have gotten a few live evals of Isaac already as a 2029 wide receiver that is a climber up to our South Dakota rankings out of Sioux Falls Jefferson. He has some of the best hands I have seen while evaluating this class thus far on tape along with a developing seperation ability. Isaac has been one in live evals that has stood out with the fluidity on with his route-running for his size as well. Give this young man opportunity to win the 1v1 battle against the corners and he'll make his catches look more routine than you would expect from a freshmen. Surely one that will be in the top-tier in the WR group come rankings time.     A newer name to my radar that impressed me with his tape eval while putting this 2029 South Dakota class together out of Sioux Falls Lincoln is cornerback [player_tooltip player_id='1906636' first='Evan' last='Lindsey']. The 6'0 170 pounder has noticably long length that can reach to the ball easier than some smaller corners I have seen in this class thus far as that jumped to me pretty quickly. He's also a sound ball-tracker for his age and has great timing at getting his head around especially on intermediate routes. He's also peaks with his position angles when the ball is incoming on a persistent basis and should be a sound corner that debuts pretty high in this DB group in South Dakota.     A last name that those in Sioux Falls will recognize coming up in the 2029 class in the wide receiver group is Sioux Falls Lincoln's [player_tooltip player_id='1741114' first='Wyatt' last='Starks']. Wyatt shows off quickly the balance he has with his route-tree and can utilize his twitch to gain quick seperation on shorter receptions in red-zone territory. Wyatt also flashes the vertical awareness when he gets in the air to adjust to the ball on the fly when the throw he gets are just off line. He has sound hands for his age to watch for whenever the ball comes his way. and can creep back on his route along the edges of the football field and make key plays around the first down markers too.     Another pair of the better hands I have seen out of this 2029 South Dakota class thus far has came from Sioux Falls Roosevelt's [player_tooltip player_id='1740905' first='Preston' last='Gasca']. He was clocked last spring with a 11.3 100-meter dash as the 5'11 175 pounder I feel has amped up game speed that's just scatching the surface. He's a route-runner that intrigues me with how he improvises with getting seperation on his routes as he can find several pockets over the middle of the field to take advantage of. Preston doesn't need much space to operate when it comes ot his hands as Preston's had some impressive reps showing off the strength of his hands in high traffic areas.
