The Washington 2027 Rankings were just released. Here we take a look at 20+ individuals ranked in the top 250 who have either made a significant jump up the rankings board or could break out this coming season. There will be a poll following this article where you can vote on the athlete most likely to blow up this year..

Please note that you can read more on each athlete in the recent breakdowns currently posted on the site..

COMPLETE LIST (Top 250) https://prepredzone.com/washington/rankings/2027-watch-list/

[player_tooltip player_id='2250904' first='Kataferu' last='Galoia'] 6-3 310 DL Timberline #23 COMMITTED: Oregon St

Not many people knew who Galoia was until recently with his commitment to OSU. Timberline could have their best team in years with him and UW commit [player_tooltip player_id='928074' first='Maurice' last='Williams'] leading after making the transfer from Graham Kapowsin.

[player_tooltip player_id='2213874' first='William' last='Wilson'] 6-4 235 LB Archbishop Murphy #37 COMMITTED: Idaho

The size at LB speaks for itself. We recently talked on Wilson who flew up the rankings board after helping his team to the state title. He will carry big responsibilities for a group that graduates a bunch of talent after winning last year's 2A title in convincing fashion.

[player_tooltip player_id='2100370' first='Connor' last='Collins'] 6-0 180 QB Cheney #65

Collins was a 1st team all-state QB at the 3A level, being named the GSL POY. You can't do much better than that. We will see how that translates on the recruiting front.

[player_tooltip player_id='1340853' first='Luca' last='Villasenor'] 6-3 190 QB Eastside Catholic #69

Eastside Catholic has been one of the most prominent football programs in the NW for years. They have two of the top recruits in America in [player_tooltip player_id='1003593' first='Tytan' last='McNeal'] & [player_tooltip player_id='1617792' first='Aedyn' last='Havili']. That being said as Villasenor played lights out last year and should be considered one of the top QBs in the region.

[player_tooltip player_id='2100382' first='Nathan' last='Zettle'] 6-1 170 QB West Valley-Spokane #72

The first ever athlete to win conference POY honors in football and basketball in the same year. He will be good at whatever he pursues collegiately.

[player_tooltip player_id='1671069' first='Xavier' last='Wall'] 6-3 305 C/DL Mount Si #75

I could see Wall being an FCS D1 center. He was a 1st & 2nd team all-conference lineman on both sides of the ball. I expect Mount Si to be much improved as a program this season, with the big man being in the Kingco POY conversation.

[player_tooltip player_id='2209869' first='Isaiah' last='Smith'] 5-11 195 RB Archbishop Murphy #78

Smith put up some of the best numbers in the Northwest last season, averaging a state leading 15 yards per carry. Defenses will make someone else beat them if they can, so we will see how he does with all of the attention he gets.

Keyan Wilson 6-0 180 CB Graham Kapowsin #81

GK is so loaded that's it's easy to go under the radar. Wilson is one of those athletes who I think deserves more attention, finishing with 70+ tackles and 6 TFL's last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1766242' first='Christopher' last='Kooiman'] 6-3 225 ATH Lynden Christian #94

Kooiman is just a big, physical athlete, who can play multiple spots on either side of the ball. Expect him to be in the POY conversation and rush for 20 TDs offensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2156019' first='Grady' last='Wall'] 6-0 180 DB/ATH Tumwater #96

As referenced Wall was last year's conference POY on defense, earning 1st team all-state honors. He is one of the most versatile athletes in all of Washington being named a 1st team all-league RB, DB, and Kicker.

[player_tooltip player_id='1605386' first='Luke' last='Parker'] 5-11 180 ATH Puyallup #100

The 4A SPSL Athlete of the Year went for 1,638 yards and 20 TDs last season to go with 40+ tackles and 8.5 TFL's. Puyallup will be a favorite to win the state title, and he will be heavily influential if that happens.

[player_tooltip player_id='1727692' first='Jacob' last='Simons'] 6-2 210 ATH Eatonville #101 Eastern Washington

EWU might have gotten a steal here with Simons. The small school standout caught 33 passes for 669 yards and 7 TD's, averaging 20 yards per catch. If they are going to improve on their 4-5 record he will be the primary reason.

[player_tooltip player_id='2100432' first='Alex' last='Walker'] 6-6 245 T/DE Pullman #132

Walker has a chance to blow up with his 6-6 frame and overall versatility. He was a 1st team all-conference selection on both sides of the football for a 2A Pullman squad that 4-6 overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='2100476' first='Parker' last='Fry'] 6-0 175 WR White River #133

The 1st team all-state 3A WR is a big reason White River football has continued to get better as a program, going 10-1 last season. His 37 catches for 716 yards and 13 TD's were some of the best numbers in Washington.

[player_tooltip player_id='2156010' first='Kaden' last='Veldman'] 6-3 215 LB Lynden Christian #136

Another intriguing athlete with size who can do a little bit of everything. Between him and Kooiman Lynden Christian will be a problem for opponents. Last season he caught 40 passes for 400+ yards and 6TD's, to go with 60 tackles and 15.5 tackles for loss.

[player_tooltip player_id='2100381' first='Tyce' last='Tuggle'] 6-0 170 Safety Mead #141

The all-conference safety had 3 INTs to go with 5 TDs offensively in 2025. Tuggle will be a featured athlete this season, especially with Mead graduating so much talent.

[player_tooltip player_id='2065188' first='Derrick' last='Bingham'] 6-0 175 WR Walla Walla #145

It seems like Walla Walla has turned a corner with a plethora of talented athletes coming up through the ranks. Bingham Jr. led all receivers with 45 catches for 523 yards and 5 TDs. The Blue Devils made the playoffs for the first time in more than a decade.

[player_tooltip player_id='2065189' first='Jaysen' last='Beasley'] 6-1 175 WR Sageview #173

Anytime you excel for a team that goes 0-9, and scores 7 points or less six times during the season, you are doing something right. Beasley finished with over 600 yards and 5 TD's which made up almost half of his teams scores.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188121' first='Shiron' last='Seniours'] 5-7 165 RB Orting #176

The undersized RB was a 1st team all-state selection and could do well collegiately if given the opportunity. He went for 1600+ yards and 18 TD's last year and was statistically one of the nation's top kick returners.

[player_tooltip player_id='2156008' first='Dre' last='Quintino'] 6-0 215 LB Anacortes #181

Quintino is a 2x state champ and has been part of a special time at Anacortes. The all-state LB is now a senior, and it will be up to him to lead on D if they want to compete for another title.

[player_tooltip player_id='2155999' first='Channing' last='Kleine'] 5-11 175 ATH Friday Harbor #196

One of the top small school athletes in Washington. Kleine was a 1st team all-state selection, going for 1200+ all-purpose yards and 11 TDs, and he could potentially see a significant jump in those numbers this year as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1188101' first='Noah' last='Maxwell'] 5-8 165 CB Steilacoom #211

The 3x all league and 2x all state DB is one of the best overall defenders in Washington. From a recruitment standpoint it's just a size thing. He went for 80+ tackles and 5 INTs last season.
