Great speed paired with smooth, natural athleticism allows him to make an impact on both sides of the ball at multiple positions. His movement is sudden and he flashes the change of direction that allows him to separate from coverage at WR or stay in phase as a DB. Even showed he can operate the offense at QB as a freshman. Flashes an advanced skillset for his age that is both physically strong and naturally athletic. As of now he projects as an interior defensive lineman showing he can disrupt both the run and passing game. His initial quickness allows him to beat opponents off the ball and make plays at or behind the LOS. He's able to quickly disengage from blockers with a heavy strike and great technique/hand usage. Possesses the physical traits and ability of a major D1 prospect with great body control and fluidity for his size. Not just a jump ball or underneath threat he can also separate as a route runner getting in and out of breaks smoothly. High level ball skills with a large catch radius allows him to win over the top of defenders and bring in passes outside his frame. Quick release moves off the line let him beat contact and get into his route without losing tempo. His frame is solid blending well with his quick feet and active hands to convert speed into power to consistently win off the edge. Athleticism gives him a variety of block beating moves with the ability to bend, change directions, and accelerate. Plays with an edge and is relentless when chasing the ball carrier as a run stopper and pass rusher. Has performed well in the offseason camp circuit including being named MVP of the National Preps Showcase. Displays savvy athleticism as a route runner with an advanced ability to use stems and leverage to set up defenders. He understands route timing and does a good job selling directional changes at the top. Natural hands catcher at the catch point that is confident attacking the ball in the air extends to play the ball away from his body. He's a tough tackle after the catch that can break through contact and use his straight line top end speed to separate in space.
