Must Know Recently Offered Fall breakout Candidates

Harper is coming off a breakout junior season and is going to have a huge senior season for Redondo Union. He is another talented Southern California prospect that picked up an offer from the University of San Diego last week and is a no-brainer FCS caliber kid. He is a very patient route runner that gets into defenders blind spots before breaking off, understands when to settle and knife upfield in zone coverage and has some wiggle after the catch with consistent hands and good tracking abilities over the top. Still working on true downfield speed, his attention to detail in his routes and consistent hands/body control makes up for it and he should have a monster year this Fall.     Rock is poised for a monster Junior season in 2026 and is a key name to watch out for as a rising receiver in the 2028 class. He is a true deep threat with excellent hands, tracking abilities and seperation strides downfield and is a strong receiver that shows box out abilities and body control. He can go up and snatch the ball out of the air over the top, catch in traffic and gain yards after the catch with a good burst and some tackle breaking abilities/short area twitch. He recently picked up his first offer from Dartmouth and is a very high academic prospect that should breakout in 2026 and see plenty more high academic FCS+ schools come his way.     Byrnes was recently offered by Idaho State and will be a nice addition to the conference once his prep career comes to an end. He is a very instinctual safety prospect with a very high IQ, range on the back end and natural ball skills with return abilities as well. He shows good eye discipline in zone coverage, triggers on the outside while tackling well in space and is not afraid to drop down in the box and take on bigger blockers and get into the mix. Byrnes also flashes playmaking abilities sideline to sideline and has closing speed while taking the proper angles in space from the third level and packs a punch at the POA. He is one of the top available prospect still available at his position and his commitment will be one to watch.     Foster is another one of the top available defensive line prospects in southern California and is a twitchy interior presence with heavy hands and good initial power at the POA and should fit well at the FCS level. He snaps out of his stance and gets inside hand placement while able to reset the LOS and work fast down the line when chasing backside and eats up double teams without losing ground. He also shows some sneaky pass rush abilities with quick hips and hands in his rushes while able to close quickly and change direction/moves well in space. Still uncommitted, he recently picked up his first offer from USD and should see other PFL interest come his way as well.
