We had commitments, offers and visits by numerous New Mexico prospects.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The highlight, of course, was speedy Alamogordo DB/RB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1605059' first='Bryson' last='Bloom']</strong> verbally committing to the New Mexico Lobos. He blazes the 40 in a laser-timed 4.4 seconds, making him one of the fastest players in the state. He was a 1,000-yard rusher for the Tigers in 2025 and won RB MVP honors at the UNM camp in June.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Bloom is the second 2027 New Mexico prospect to commit to the Lobos, joining &nbsp;St. Pius RB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1154954' first='Hershul' last='Olloway']</strong>. UNM also offered 2027 Las Cruces LB <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1606042' first='Denton' last='Walter']</strong> in July.
