Twelve different guys have verbally committed to Power 4 programs. Quite a few others have pledged to FBS and FCS schools.   Even with those sizable numbers, a lot of talent from the state for the cycle remains in the board. The Situation: Stensrud offers value for potential contributions on the offensive or defensive line on the next level. He's shown ability at those positions. The real allure to bringing him into a college program is his talent as a long snapper, however. Scouts look for steadiness and ease in that operation, and Stensrud offers it up during his junior highlight video of 2025. The two minutes reveal a lot of accurate snaps on punts followed by hustle in covering the kicks. Stensrud plays with a high tempo and puts zip on his snaps, which shines through in placekicking.   Simpson College saw what it liked in Stensrud, offering him an opportunity in the middle of June. Programs on the next level searching for a snapper should check out the film and keep an eye on him this fall.   <a href="https://prepredzone.com/player/carter-stewart-5/">[player_tooltip player_id='2084829' first='Carter' last='Stewart']</a>, DL, Dallas Center-Grimes   Announced Offers: Grand View.   The Situation: As a junior last fall, Stewart racked up 29.5 tackles with 23 stops being of the solo variety. He rattled defenses for 6.0 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks. The disruption can be seen when watching his 11th-grade highlight video. Stewart is technically sound and produces while playing within the defensive scheme, traits that are attractive to colleges. When there's a play to be made, he easily gets off of blocks and flies to football. There's already a good deal of physicality with plenty of growth potential. Stewart is a very worthy investment for colleges strong in line development.   Grand View became Stewart's first college offer following a June camp. He also camped with Upper Iowa and Drake. Dubuque, North Alabama, St. Thomas and Morningside have played host to him for campus visits.   [player_tooltip player_id='2053644' first='Tate' last='Tabbert'], ATH, Osage   Announced Offers: None.   The Situation: During Osage's historic run to The Dome in 2025, Tabbert piled up 40.0 tackles, 33 of which were solo stops. He forced a fumble and intercepted three passes. He averaged 40.8 yards on 19 punts and returned his only kickoff 17 yards. Tabbert rushed for 24 yards (4.0 YPC), caught five balls for 97 yards and delivered a trio of two-point conversions. When watching Tabbert's 11th-grade highlight video, we observe a versatile athlete that could project at multiple positions on the next level. He's a well-rounded receiver that also offers upside as a defensive back with long arms, long strides and fluidity in changing directions. The potential at punter also is there as is the ability to aid colleges in other areas of special teams.   Tabbert isn't publicly reporting any college interest. If he's not receiving any, that's an oversight.   [player_tooltip player_id='1269106' first='Jeremiah' last='Tamayo-Lopez'], RB/ATH, Cedar Falls   Announced Offers: None.   The Situation: Tamayo-Lopez took advantage of his varsity opportunities during 2025. The junior added to a deep offensive backfield with 227 yards (7.5 YPC). A well-rounded runner that's patient and allows his blocks to set up, Tamayo-Lopez darts through openings and accelerates impressively into the second level and beyond. While not the biggest back, he runs with power and keeps his legs churning, which helps break tackles. His balance and sharp cuts make him tough to corral in space. Tamayo-Lopez also stands out in Wrestling and track.   There's no reported college interest in Tamayo-Lopez, but the talent is present to perform on the next level.   [player_tooltip player_id='2086357' first='Fredrick' last='Tarasid'], ATH, Southeast Polk   Announced Offers: Drake, Sioux Falls, Grand View.   The Situation: It's common to be overlooked at perennial power Southeast Polk. That's happened with Tarasid, a dude capable of contributing at plenty of colleges. He posted 13.0 tackles, eight of which were solo, with a stop for loss as a Ram junior in 2025. Tarasid can lock down in coverage and support the run operating out of the secondary. He also flashes potential on offense and special teams during his junior highlight video. There's big-play ability as a returner with the potential to delivery momentum-changing plays. Couple that with big-play ability on defense and the upside becomes really attractive.   Tarasid reports offers from Drake, Sioux Falls and Grand View. He's camped at Iowa State and had the Cyclones visit him at school. He visited South Dakota State for a junior day in the spring and has met with Michigan State at Southeast Polk.
