He is a 6-foot-6, 210-pound kid who started to see his stock rise later in his high school career. Gathings is a player who has a good chance to develop into a very good player on the college level. He has some big hands. He is a young man who has been contributing to his team since he was a freshman. The better he gets at running routes, the more he is going to be able to develop in a dangerous receiver on the next level. He is one of the best players in the state of Mississippi. His basketball skills show up a lot in his route running. He is able to make defenders do a lot of thinking when they are in front of him. A lot of his summers have been spent playing basketball, so he has not been to as many football camps as other prospects. He is a big playmaker who is explosive on the field. There is a good chance that his stock is going to rise this season. Warner knows he has the talent to be the go-to receiver for his team. This is going to be a year where he needs to go off on the field. College coaches need to know that he is one of the guys to know from Mississippi.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
