2026 Section IV Team Previews

<p>The team preview for the Section IV season is here. Grab a look at the teams that are looking to improve this upcoming season and take advantage of the situations that present themselves ahead. No doubt each team has lost value in respected players, but they will be leaning on upcoming talent.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span style="text-decoration: underline">Chenango Forks Blue Devils:</span></h2>   <p>The Chenango Forks Blue Devils are going to make noise with the talent they have returning. One of which is RB [player_tooltip player_id='1639382' first='Brysen' last='Fry'], who they will lean on heavily. Fry has all the skills at the RB position, as he rushed for 1,437 rushing yards and 27 TDs. Moreover, this is an RB that is going to burst through the smallest lanes and contact. The Blue Devils also have a veteran QB in [player_tooltip player_id='2240529' first='Sam' last='Paske'] who can make plays on the ground and through the air. Defensively, [player_tooltip player_id='2240536' first='Evan' last='Trusdale'] looks to be an impactful rusher off the edge. Trusdale is an electric player to watch after switching from MLB to DE. Two players to keep our eyes out for are Marco and Luca Konrad. Both Konrads have made critical plays as pass catchers, pass rushers, and ball carriers for this football team. The other multi-asset player that is important for this team is [player_tooltip player_id='1364030' first='Max' last='Policare']. Equally, he was used at RB and CB in a variety of ways. On offense he will take handoffs and be utilized in the passing game. Where CB was, we saw his ability to cover ground efficiently with his speed. Up front for the Tigers, they are going to be led by the 6'3”, 273-pound OT in [player_tooltip player_id='2240539' first='Jackson' last='Medlar']. This is an OT that is going to block with power and technique to create lanes in the run game. This is the anchor of the Tigers' offensive line. Key players such as RB Robert Malabry, who runs with a mix of power and quickness, will be utilized heavily. Defensively, MLB Anthony Fiorelli is a returning piece for the Tigers. Thereupon they will have returning players such as LB/RB [player_tooltip player_id='2240541' first='Dominic' last='Goetz'] and Edge Liam Ogden who showed their aggressiveness all around. They both are not afraid to lower to attack and get into the opponent's backfield. Other impactful players such as Rashid Driscoll and Deklan Goodwin look to command the front of the LOS.</p>      <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><span style="text-decoration: underline">Owego Free Academy River Hawks</span>:</h2>   <p>Owego Free Academy River Hawks were the Class B champions and do have plenty of firepower returning. A key piece of that firepower is DB [player_tooltip player_id='2240544' first='Derique' last='Ellis'], who will travel all over the defense for the Red Hawks. Thereafter, the Riverhawks do have a true home run hitter at the RB position with [player_tooltip player_id='2240548' first='Dylan' last='Brace']. When a hole presents itself, Brace can explode with his speed and acceleration. In like fashion, a large force in creating those lanes is OG Christian Monell. Look for Monell to continue to execute powerful traps and reach blocks.</p>
