Weekly Recruiting Wrap Up: Prospects First Offers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I take a look at some 2027/28 prospects who just picked up their first offers over the past week to start off the month of June. These are all prospects having big springs so far and are primed for breakout seasons in the fall that more colleges should be evaluating. He's a big IOL at 6'5" and a lean 295lbs, carrying his weight well. Jonathan plays with a lot of power and strength. Able to move defenders out of the way, drive them off the LOS and bury them in the dirt. Since the beginning of June he has picked up his first 2 offers from Washington and Maryland. He was a rotational OL for GC last fall but looks to take his place as a key starter for them for 2026. Josiah is a big physical and strong OT. Able to get nice leverage at the POA and can move defenders out the way with ease. Josiah will be a big riser in the next 2028 MD rankings and is a name to know for colleges going into this fall. Every year he gets better and bigger. Pair that with his strong academics and it is no surprise he just recently picked up his first offer out of the IVY League from Columbia. He is long and lean with a frame that continues to fill out. Now up to the 245-250lb range, he is on pace to be a great body 270+ prospect in no time. An athletic OT, Jeremy has excellent feet. Moves well laterally and gets them up &amp; down quickly. He finally picks up his first one from Towson this past weekend. Isaiah has proven to be an impact player on both sides of the ball at TE &amp; OLB. I like him best as an edge rush OLB/DE prospect at the next level and he has shown on the field to be more than capable of being that finishing last year with 15 sacks. With an excellent frame that he has added roughly 15lbs to since the end of the fall season, and can see him carrying 240+ no problem down the road. Isaiah plays with nice bend, can dip and flatten past the OT. Showcases and array of pash rush moves with a swim, rip, and overall active hands. He plays with a high motor and is a good overall athlete. Syracuse is the first college to see what I saw as they became his first offer after he camped there earlier last week. Joziah reportedly ran a 4.5 40 during the camp there. Standing 6'2+" with a long well slapped together frame, Joziah passes the eye ball test. He plays with a smooth long stride, and able to get vertical making him a good deep ball receiver. Joziah routinely comes up with big downfield impact plays. He sees the ball well and can make adjustments to it in the air to put himself in position for the catch. With improved footwork and has some twitch in the hips, Joziah is a playmaker at the WR spot. He will be a top player in Fred Co. this upcoming fall and I will not be surprised at all to see him get some more offers under his belt this summer. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:html --> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">After a great camp at Syracuse, I'm truly blessed to announce I have received my first scholarship offer.
