SBU Prospect Camp “Standouts” PT.2

Hubbard made life hard for a lot of linebackers in attendance. He ran routes like a wide receiver in the backfield, while showing a pair of nice hands to grab the football out of the air. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hubbard also moved effortlessly through the individual skills drills, showing the ability to be an all purpose back. That was definitely the case for [player_tooltip player_id='1606954' first='Baron' last='Witcher'], after every rep he was asking who's next to be sure he was soaking up the most knowledge from the SBU coaching staff. With his plethora of reps (more notable 1-on-1 reps) he was one of the most stickiest in coverage among the defensive back camp participants. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Witcher has great route recognition and I believe that comes from the fact that he has some experience playing WR on the offensive side of the ball. Nichols is such a natural passer, there were a couple reps especially in the 1v1 session where Nichols absolutely rips multiple slant routes that turned a couple of the SBU coaches heads in attendance. Standing at 6'1 175 he's a long limbed corner that fits perfectly in what college programs currently look for. Foster put on a absolute clinic in the 1v1 session of camp. He loves to play in your face bump and run coverage, he can knock receivers off there rhythm while having plenty of speed to close gaps to prevent separation. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
