Saturday Spotlight; 2027 Running Backs

On offense, he is a kid who is explosive when it comes to having that extra step coaches want to see a kid have. He is known for running by his opponents with ease. Monix also does a good job of making people miss. It is also imperative to mention he has a good set of hands. Monix is going to have another season of making things happen.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2080426' first='Cade' last='Rodgers']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Rodgers is a kid from DeSoto Central who has been on fire over his career. This young man has a film that fans need to take a look at. When he finds the hole, he shoots off immediately. There is not a lot of tiptoe action in his game. Rodgers also has good vision. His name is going to be called a lot again this season. He is one of the best Mississippi prospects for the 2027 class.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Amijai Frederick</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Frederick is a player from Gulfport who is looking forward to having a very good season. He is a 5-foot-10, 195-pound player who is quick. There is also going to be some power coming behind those legs. He is a kid who coaches should definitely take a look at. Expect to see him getting more carries this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Jaylen Hall</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hall is a stud from West Point who is very fast. During the 2025 season, this young man was breaking off a lot of long runs. There is not a sure answer on whether he will be playing running back on the next level or not. He has a long lanky build that makes him look like a defensive back.
