Montini 2027 WR Daniel Sago Primed for MAJOR BREAKOUT

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><em>***Use Code “ScottyB30” for 30% off your subscription***</em></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Montini 2027 wide receiver <strong>Daniel Sago</strong> is going to explode on the recruiting scene and SOON!&nbsp; The two sport star was at the UA Next Camp giving us a great chance to see him in person after being forced to sit out last year because of transfer.&nbsp; Measured in at 6'5” 177 pounds while running a 4.59 forty yard dash and 4.25 short shuttle.&nbsp; Broad jump was 114.6” and had a vertical of 28.6”.&nbsp; The long levered pass catcher has extremely lengthy strides covering a ton of ground getting vertical.&nbsp; Can also cut pretty well too.&nbsp; Adjusts to different speeds of throws and has a wide catch radius.&nbsp; Tracks it so well down the field.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Also an emerging talent on the basketball court as well, but with his size and pass catching ability probably projects best as a football prospect at the next level.&nbsp; Could even grow into a tight end if he continues to add more strength.&nbsp; We spoke with him about his play at the camp.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>“It went pretty well.&nbsp; I stretched and got my mind right.&nbsp; I competed, made some friends, got some accomplishments, and saw what I need to work on mostly.”</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Sago is primed to make major noise as one of the top pass catchers this season for the #1 overall 2027 prospect and Miami QB commit [player_tooltip player_id='611846' first='Israel' last='Abrams'].&nbsp; Unfortunately last year he was not able to play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>“I transferred and moved up with my family from Champaign Central High School.&nbsp; I must have transferred a little too late.&nbsp; A week before the football season I was told I wouldn't be able to play until this year.&nbsp; I used the year to mentally prepare the most because it was challenging and heart breaking.&nbsp; I now feel I am more physically ready than ever.&nbsp; I am really excited for my senior season.”</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>What can college coaches expect when coming to check him out?</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>“Expect a taller guy with quick twitch, a quick first step, and great hands.&nbsp; A lot of stuff a taller 6'6” receiver wouldn't have.”</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>South Dakota State is a program that has expressed interest in him.&nbsp; Look for Sago to jump inside the overall top 100 and probably top 10 wide receivers in our next Prep Redzone Illinois update.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
