Michigan Made College Night: Underclassman Standouts

The class of 2029 Frankenmuth athlete showed raw power in positional drills and very light feet for a young defensive lineman. I was impressed with his ability to transition to running back as the squad went to some all inclusive drill work. He ran very sharp routes and did an excellent job catching the ball out of the backfield during some of the quarterback showcase portion of the night. Jaxon did a nice job working trough the drills that the staff put the kids through. He showed good feet and a defensive back. Jaxon lined up against bigger kids all night but never backed down from one rep. Jaxon also did a good job running good routes as a widereciever. I was very encouraged by Jaxons ability to do what ever was asked of him and did it with energy and purpose. Jaxon did not waste one rep all night. Max is a long rangy athlete that I was very impressed with during defensive back drills. Max has a smooth back pedal and did an excellent job of staying in phase with the wide outs. I was impressed with his ability to constantly be in position to make a play on the ball. Marcus did a good job taking coaching into individual drill work and implementing it into his game. The young pass catcher ran smooth routes and did an excellent job catching the ball with his hands and not letting it get to his body. I was also surprised by his shifty quick first step and he released from the line of scrimmage. Going to be interesting to see Marcus continue to develop over the next few months. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
