Class of ‘29 Summer Update: Five High Ranking Newcomers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here's some more coverage on the latest rankings update for the Class of ‘29. This time I'll be highlighting some of the prospects that cracked the rankings. In this summer update more than 25 players helped increase the class to 100 ranked prospects.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over the past couple weeks I previewed a portion of those players. There were however some I wanted to highlight after the rankings were published. These five make up that group. When the rankings went live they were some of the highest ranked newcomers. Heavner of Garden City entered the rankings very close to the top two quarterbacks and the Top 10. He's the 14th ranked prospect overall and the 3rd ranked player at his position. Lee of Mill Valley added to the depth, as he debuted at No. 20 overall and he is the 6th ranked DB in the class. I discovered him late in the evaluation process, and I'm glad I did because this young man has a bright future. He debuted as the 5th ranked LB in the class and the 29th ranked prospect overall. Rice checked in at No. 31 overall and is the 2nd ranked wideout in the class. Peregrino has the potential of being a beast as an edge rusher, or he could be an exceptional offensive tackle. Once he fine-tunes his fundamentals, opposing players in the trenches better watch out.
