Angel Torres -2027 Gull Lake HS

The 6'1" 185 pound kicker has a big leg and he had it on display the entire camp. This prospect comes from a soccer background, which is not surprising once you see his footwork and ball placement. One thing that really impressed me about Angel was the amount of power he was able to generate with his right leg during a two-step individual drill. During the kicking competition, he was able to drill field goals from 20, 27, 32, 37, 42 and 47 yards out. He was crowned champion with a winning kick of 50 yards that had at least another 5 yards to spare! Angel can also doble as a punter. His punting numbers were also very good on the day which allowed him to take 2nd overall in the punting competition.

Kevin Hafner -2028 Pewamo Westphalia HS

A punters number 1 job is to flip field position, the 6'0 170 pound punter did a great job showcasing his ability to do just that. Kevin also plays two different skill positions which I'd like to think adds to his athleticism and the elasticity of his leg. I believe an underrated skillset of punters is the ability to corral bad snaps and still get the ball off, I saw Kevin do that a couple times and that impressed me just as much as the length of the kick. Hafner performed really well during the competition portion. On 5 punts he averaged a distance of 39.8 yards with an average hangtime of 4.05 seconds. Kevin can also serve as a place kicker when needed, just to add another position to his toolbox.

Kyle Nguyen -2027 Caledonia HS

Also having come from a soccer background, Kyle is pretty new to the position, with that being said you can see a lot of promise and potential coming off his foot. He has a very powerful lower half, that translates to and through the ball as he makes contact with it. He was able to compete head-to-head against the two champions and he held his own. Nguyen competed as both a kicker and punter showing his versatility when need be.
