Under-the-Radar Seniors Pick Up First Offers

With spring practices and college days under way, college camps looming large, and the upcoming fall season right around the corner, we are taking a look ahead at some under-the-radar prospects who plan to make a name for themselves over the next few months. Here are four standouts who pop on film and have taken their recruiting up a notch with strong showings during spring ball.    Noah Dumas picked up an offer from Mercyhurst and is coming off a strong performance at the UA Next Camp at his own school, Pickerington North. The Class of 2027 receiver shines as an inside wideout, where he flashes some juice after the catch and good vision, making defenders miss and running through contact. Keep an eye on him to have a breakout senior year.     [player_tooltip player_id='1595479' first='Isaac' last='Manfre'] is a talented interior defensive lineman with good play strength and a nose for the ball. A starter for Archbishop Alter, he can occupy double-team blocks, allow his teammates to clean up the play, and holds the point of attack effectively. Flows to the ball, wraps up, and can be a very disruptive down lineman at the next level. Plays with adequate bend and leverage. Virginia Military Institute is his first offer.     [player_tooltip player_id='2172419' first='Ahsan' last='Miller'] is a starting Class of 2027 offensive lineman for Hayes High School. Starting at offensive tackle, he displays a good first step, strong leg drive and good hand placement/timing/latch to drive defenders off the ball. I think his college fit is inside at guard where he can really fire forward to the second level would be an asset to any college team. Picked up an offer from Central State.     [player_tooltip player_id='1687426' first='Jayden' last='Haynes'] is a starting receiver for Mayfield High School. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound wideout has solid long speed with good take-off at the line of scrimmage. When the ball is in the air, he displays great body adjustment, catches with his hands and wins contested catches. He finished last season with 35 catches for 640 yards and nine touchdowns, and added an interception on defense. He could be a late bloomer and a name to watch during college camps this summer.
