The Stage Collegiate Showcase took place in Chicagoland at College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn (IL), drawing a quality group of regional talent with college coaches in attendance. Defensive line prospects measured in, ran through combine testing in the 10 yard split and 40 yard if they opted to do so, pro shuttle, and broad jump. The event took place outdoors on a turf surface with ambient temperatures beginning at 55 and dropping to 47 by the time the event ended. Testing was conducted through a short breeze creating a wind chill factor. The D-Block group was deep and laced with current and future Division I prospects. Dawgs brought the heat on a chilly Tuesday night in May.

*** Use code StopPRZ30 at checkout for 30% off your subscription to Prep Redzone ***

BEST OF THE BEST

[player_tooltip player_id='1575273' first='Hunter' last='Wahtola'] | DePaul College Prep | 2027

Wahtola measured in at 6020 252, tested at 4.97x40, 1.69x10, 4.46 pro shuttle, 8'3 broad jump, and was an absolute animal throughout the entirety of the evening. Wahtola was a high motor machine, violent with his hands, showed great quickness and explosiveness, and every rep was the same all night. There was no letting up. He played on another level all night. He went into his rushes with a plan, displayed rush and counter moves. It was pure domination.

TOP COMPETITORS

[player_tooltip player_id='2087769' first='Kane' last='Switski'] | Barrington | 2027

Switski put together a night very emblematic of his tape. Switski has a great frame at 6040 230 with lots of length in his lowers, and tested very well with a 1.65x10, 4.40 pro shuttle and 8'5 broad jump. As the numbers indicate, Switski can explode out of his stance and change direction with ease. Off the edge, he was the athletic disruptor of the night. He came off flat with burst and disabled blockers with quickness and bend. His motor was high and quite effective.

[player_tooltip player_id='2205140' first='Brandon' last='Walters'] | King College Prep | 2027

Walters came through the event measuring at 5100 278 and caused his fair share of disruption from the interior. In testing, he put down a 4.66 pro shuttle and 6'8 broad jump. Walters set himself apart with his high motor. Off the ball, he showed the capability to play with leverage and plenty of power and explosiveness generating from his hips. If he got pad level advantage, he was able to dominate into the backfield.

[player_tooltip player_id='2205143' first='Isaiah' last='Sylvester'] | West Chicago | 2027

Sylvester was a good looking prospect on the hoof with an edge rusher body type and good arm length. At weigh ins, he measured 6010 215 and paired that with an eye opening 1.58x10, showing that initial quickness and twitch off the ball. Other testing numbers included a 4.9x40, 4.67 pro shuttle, 8'7 broad jump. Sylvester flashed pass rush ability to be developed at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2205138' first='Tristan' last='Brown'] | Dyett | 2027

Brown showed up with an athletic frame and some size built on top of it. He measured in at 6010 241, tested 1.66x10, 5.10 pro shuttle, 7'11 broad jump. Brown was another one that flashed his ability to rush off the edge and use length, get off and athletic ability to put a tackle on his heels. Brown is another developmental prospect with decent size and competitive athletic ability.

[player_tooltip player_id='2176977' first='Jake' last='Wallace'] | Nazareth Academy | 2027

Wallace put together a heck of a day at the EDGYTIM Spring Showcase back in April and began to assemble a similar night at The Stage before having to shut it down due to injury. The consistency about Wallace is, despite his lack of overall size and length, what he is able to do inside is cause massive problems with his quickness, explosiveness and motor. Similar to the Spring Showcase, Wallace logged a 4.98x40, 4.54 pro shuttle, 7'11 broad jump, and during this testing he put down a 1.56x10.

[player_tooltip player_id='1855455' first='Cade' last='Albrecht'] | Vernon Hills | 2029

Albrecht is a name we are well aware of and continuing to track from event to event and from season to season. He is another that had a solid EDGYTIM Spring Showcase, and the freshman continues to put up good numbers for his age. 6010 252 is where he measured in, with a 1.69x10, 4.79 pro shuttle, 7'11 broad jump. Albrecht consistently shows good get off and quickness off the ball and at the point of attack. This night was not his best night, but the drive on Albrecht snatch every rep he could and get after it was notable. The young man loves to compete.

[player_tooltip player_id='2088825' first='George' last='Kalkounos'] | Fremd | 2027

Kalkounos is a well known name from a program that competes at a championship level in the highest classification in the State of Illinois. He is one of those prospects we've seen live on numerous occasions and always shows up, competes hard, and ends up being amongst the top performers at an event. This night, he checked in at 6020 222, with a notable 1.66x10 and 4.42 pro shuttle. Kalkounos is quick off the ball and plays with great effort.

[player_tooltip player_id='1335349' first='George' last='Holland'] | Lake Forest | 2027

Holland was notable with his measurables at 6040 272 and his testing at 1.48x10, 4.46 pro shuttle and 8'3 broad jump. The rising senior was mobile in space and went through agilities with ease. Holland is a developmental prospect with a traits fueled ceiling.

TAP IN FOR MORE ON THE STAGE COLLEGIATE SHOWCASE!
 https://prepredzone.com/2026/05/hogs-got-physical-at-the-stage-collegiate-showcase/ https://prepredzone.com/2026/05/who-got-seen-at-the-stage-in-chicagoland/ https://prepredzone.com/2026/05/best-of-the-backers-at-the-stage-collegiate-showcase/ https://prepredzone.com/2026/05/the-stage-collegiate-showcase-offensive-skill-performers/ https://prepredzone.com/2026/05/deep-quarterback-group-at-the-stage-collegiate-showcase/ https://prepredzone.com/2026/05/who-got-seen-at-the-stage-in-chicagoland/

PRZ EXPOSURE SERIES IS IN CHICAGOLAND THIS WEEKEND!

https://twitter.com/PrepRedzoneIL/status/2054710559111541209

*** Use code StopPRZ30 at checkout for 30% off your subscription to Prep Redzone ***
