Team Spotlight: Social Circle

Social Circle reached the second round of the GHSA A-D1 playoffs and finished 2025 with a 7-5 overall record. The Social Circle offense was explosive last fall, averaging over 30 pts and 330 yards of total offense per game. Additionally, their 3 leading rushers (Fears 753 yds, Paggett 700 yds, and Farmer 480 yds) will all be returning for their senior seasons in 2026.    Bailey's 6'4 frame makes him a clear mismatch on the perimeter, both as a DB and WR. He pairs this 6'4 "height with elite speed, earning state Runner-Up honors in the 200m Dash at the 1A-D1 track and field championship. At WR, his speed stretches the defense vertically, as he can attack the cushion or leverage of the DB immediately off the line of scrimmage. Once he is on their toes, he uses his length to essentially box out the DB and attack the ball at its highest point, like he's going up for a rebound. Not only does he consistently win contested catches, but he also has the athleticism to break tackles and make defenders miss for yards after the catch. The same can be said at DB, as he can run with receivers on the perimeter and the instincts to play the ball in the air, helping him account for 4 interceptions in 2025. He returned multiple interceptions for touchdowns as well. Bailey currently holds an FCS offer from Stony Brook University.      Fears is a physical and bruising downhill runner who only needs a crease off of power or counter to strikeout for 6. He maintains low pad-level with the ball in his hands, never allowing defenders to get a clean shot on him. Likewise, his legs never stop driving on contact, helping him to run through contact and gain additional yards at the end of runs. Often, he initiates contact with defenders, allowing him to out leverage them or stun them with the initial thud. Fears rushed for 753 yards and 14 TDs in 2025.      Paggett is an explosive runner with the speed to bend the corner on outside runs and cut through defenses for 6 between the tackles. He has great feet that help him to jump cut or change direction fluidly without missing a step. Likewise, he is elusive in space, making defenders miss in the open field on the second and third levels of the defense. Paggett also makes a number of plays on the defensive side of the ball at corner.      Farmer is a true dual threat under center for Social Circle. He has the athleticism to extend plays with his legs and be heavily involved in the run game (hence the 480 yds rushing). His ability to distribute the ball in the pass game is impressive, as he throws the ball with great anticipation and accuracy. Farmer threw for nearly 1,600 yds with a 63% completion percentage in 2025.
