Sebring’s Rare Losing Season Has The Blue Streaks Embracing 2026

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>If you know and have followed Sebring High's football program through the years, you already know that veteran head coach <strong>LaVaar Scott</strong> will never make excuses for his teams.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>After posting a rare losing record last season and finishing 5-6, the Blue Streaks realize that a few bounces here and there and this team could have had a different outcome.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While they advanced to the post season, dropping the first-round playoff game to Tampa Bay Tech, there were at least three other games against top competition (Lake Wales, 28-21, Port Charlotte, 28-21 and Sarasota Booker, 27-20) that could have gone the other way.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As this team heads toward the summer and the start of the 2026 season, there is plenty to be optimistic about.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Among the players who are expected to make an impact as returners include rising seniors (2027) <strong>Antayvion Bostic</strong> (SS/OLB),&nbsp; <strong>Zechariah&nbsp;“Zech” Taylor</strong> (LB).
